By far the worst restaurant I’ve visited in the last decade. The decor is actually quite nice, and the waiters were extremely apologetic throughout, but the desolate ambience beneath the surface should’ve been a warning of what was ahead. Half the items on the menu were “out of stock,” and they even admitted they couldn’t make drinks listed on their own menu.
We decided to try a few starters before committing to a full meal… thankfully. The calamari was mediocre, the chicken soup tasted like instant noodles and was overwhelmingly salty, and the accompanying bread was undeniably stale. Every dish was a disappointment.
It’s great to have polite staff and attractive decor, but people go to restaurants for the food and the food here was awful. I genuinely would’ve preferred to set the 51k we spent on fire rather than waste it on this meal.
As I posted before it was an awesome experience. When I visit Lagos again I plan on going. Michael was the best host ever. Very friendly and attentive without being annoying. He even took pics and a video! My honey, now my fiance as if a week after this photo, knew I was missing some food from the USA. Kapadoccia more than made up for it!
It is a very lovely and intimate space where you can enjoy a nice meal with your loved ones.
The staff seem pretty nice too. They really made my friend's birthday celebration wonderful.
Michael did a Superb job of serving us!!! He was very attentive without being annoying. He was sensitive to the fact that I was visiting Nigeria and was having withdrawal of American food! He was funny too. The atmosphere was so calming. Can't wait to go back! I want to add a picture but can't figure how to.
