Consistently great food and service! Cilantro never disappoints — the food is always fresh and delicious, and the staff are warm and attentive. The ambience is lovely and serene; I especially enjoy watching the monkeys in the trees while dining outdoors. It’s very family-friendly, with both indoor and outdoor seating options that are beautifully set up. Perfect for date nights, birthday gatherings, or just a relaxed meal out. One of my favorite spots in town!

I had the pleasant surprise of discovering Cilantro during my trip to Abuja. The place is absolutely charming, surrounded by trees, beautifully maintained, and with a truly lovely atmosphere. From the very first moment, I was warmly welcomed. The staff are incredibly friendly and attentive, always ready to assist with a smile. The food is simply amazing, with genuinely authentic Indian flavours. It felt like tasting a piece of India in Nigeria, an authentic and delicious experience! Another major highlight is that they accept international cards, which is quite rare in Abuja and makes a real difference for travellers. I’d also like to give a special mention to the manager, Ram, who was outstanding, a kind, dedicated professional who went above and beyond to ensure we had the best possible experience. I will definitely be returning, and I highly recommend it!

Cilantro, Abuja (Maitama) We visited Cilantro near Maitama—an Indian-style restaurant with plenty of space and nice surroundings. The food was okay, though on the pricier side, and overall it felt a bit costly for what was offered. The ambiance and setting were pleasant, but the value for money could have been better.

Dining at Cilantro in the middle of Sarius Palmetum Garden felt like the perfect touch of luxury in nature. I had their butter chicken with garlic naan, and every bite was a warm, flavorful hug. The richness of the curry, the softness of the naan, and the balance of spices left me feeling both satisfied and curious to try more. The staff was polite, and the outdoor garden setting made the whole experience even more relaxing. If you’re craving good Indian food in Abuja, this place delivers — with taste and ambience.

Hidden gem in Abuja! The botanical garden setting with monkeys creates such a unique atmosphere for this restaurant. What we ordered: • Vegetable samosas (5/5) ( honestly more like potato samosas ( mostly potato with just one green bean ) but delicious enough that I’d definitely order them again. • Chicken 65 (4/5): Tasty, but missing the bold spice profile, not chili at all. • Butter chicken with plain white rice(4/5): creamy and flavorful, though on the sweeter side compared to traditional butter chicken. • Chicken Biriyani: ( haven’t tried it yet) • Garlic Naan (3/5): not the best. • Cheese Naan (4/5): soft, cheesy, enjoyable! Overall: This is the best place I have tried so far in Abuja in terms of the service and cleanliness. The only thing missing for me is the authentic Indian spice and heat- We asked for chili flakes, but they only had a mild chili sauce. Still, a great experience and worth visiting!
