Boomtown Restaurant and Coffee Shop, located right in the heart of the city at GRA, is a great spot for anyone looking to unwind in a stylish and lively setting. The ambiance is inviting, with a well-thought-out interior design and aesthetics that immediately set the mood. They also offer outdoor seating, which is perfect for enjoying the evening air, and it’s a popular spot where people gather to watch live football matches on the big screen.
Their menu features a variety of cocktails, drinks, and grilled options. The grilled fish, while tasty, comes at a steep ₦20,000, and even a bottle of Flying Fish is priced at ₦3,000. While the food and drinks are enjoyable, the pricing may feel on the higher side. Another downside is the limited parking space, which can be inconvenient during peak hours.
Overall, I had a pleasant experience at Boomtown. The atmosphere, the entertainment, and the service made it worth the visit. Despite the price and parking challenges, I’d recommend it for a nice hangout spot in the city.
It’s a cool place, I went on a Sunday evening so it was somewhat crowded and busy. The DJ and Hypeman were good. The waiter who served us was really jovial and swift. I had the Boomtown special milkshake and it was really nice and I also tried the gizdodo which was equally delicious
Maybe I’ll go there again but I’ll try not to go on a weekend so I’ll see what the atmosphere looks like on a weekday.
Great food and large portions. I’d specifically recommend their shawarma to anyone, I’d say it’s the best I’ve had in Port-Harcourt. The prices are worth the food portions, also a good place to watch football with the outdoor large screens. The service is prompt and staff are courteous.
BoomTown Restaurant has a very serene atmosphere and well mannered staff. The food is nice especially their Jollof Rice and fisherman soup but you would wait awhile to be served if you don't book before coming.
Overall I would recommend it for people who love serene environment and classy service
This place was impeccable and the food was superb. The caramel macchiato coffee was to die for. I had an omelette that was out of this world. I was so happy to find some American food. The service was great and so was the food for my Nigerian friends. I hope to go back there when I come again and enjoy the night atmosphere. Great place to hang out at night I am sure. Not a lot of parking spaces was the only downfall.
