Boomtown Restaurant and Coffee Shop, located right in the heart of the city at GRA, is a great spot for anyone looking to unwind in a stylish and lively setting. The ambiance is inviting, with a well-thought-out interior design and aesthetics that immediately set the mood. They also offer outdoor seating, which is perfect for enjoying the evening air, and it’s a popular spot where people gather to watch live football matches on the big screen.
Their menu features a variety of cocktails, drinks, and grilled options. The grilled fish, while tasty, comes at a steep ₦20,000, and even a bottle of Flying Fish is priced at ₦3,000. While the food and drinks are enjoyable, the pricing may feel on the higher side. Another downside is the limited parking space, which can be inconvenient during peak hours.
Overall, I had a pleasant experience at Boomtown. The atmosphere, the entertainment, and the service made it worth the visit. Despite the price and parking challenges, I’d recommend it for a nice hangout spot in the city.
It’s a cool place, I went on a Sunday evening so it was somewhat crowded and busy. The DJ and Hypeman were good. The waiter who served us was really jovial and swift. I had the Boomtown special milkshake and it was really nice and I also tried the gizdodo which was equally delicious
Maybe I’ll go there again but I’ll try not to go on a weekend so I’ll see what the atmosphere looks like on a weekday.
BoomTown Restaurant has a very serene atmosphere and well mannered staff. The food is nice especially their Jollof Rice and fisherman soup but you would wait awhile to be served if you don't book before coming.
Overall I would recommend it for people who love serene environment and classy service
I went to this restaurant on a Friday. The ambience is good. I am rating the service one start because of how long it takes for the fisherman soup to be ready. We waited 1 hrs 30 minutes for soup and 45 minutes for chicken, chips, sauces, and all to be ready. We ordered water and juice. We had to keep on calling waiters to find the waiter that took the order. The basmati Chinese rice was absolutely tasteless. Overall, the long wait time made us buy more chips and milkshakes to quench the children's hunger. The Fisherman soup is absolutely amazing. So delicious. It compensated the wait time.
The environment was cozy. The foods were average. I had fisherman soup and it was average. I was slightly disappointed. The wings were average but okay. The environment was clean. The staff were friendly. I enjoyed their grilled fish though some people may complain because the pepper did not enter inside and other spices too. The fries were nice. I will recommend that.
