It's a beautiful and delightful place to hangout, prices are above average... someone recommended their burger, and I decided to try it ...it's just the regular burger.. I'd visit again, and probably try their meal .. lovely customer service too.
There is a lot of chatter and hype about this place, which is not unusual with a new spot which springs up in New GRA Port Harcourt.
Worth the hype:
* Picturesque interior. A tad garish though.
* Good air conditioning.
* Quality music, wafting through ceiling-mounted speakers.
* Courteous and helpful staff.
* Easy to find via Maps (albeit not very conspicuous), good access roads.
Not worth the hype:
* No parking space. Zilch. Nãda. You will park along the road, at your own risk.
* Poor value for money. Meals are mediocre for the cost. I had Rivers Native Soup, Cow Tail and Poundo. The soup was watery, had no large Prawns and was not very tasty.
* An ice bucket used as a hand-washing bowl. What was that?!
* Music was a bit too loud.
* Faux-gold cutlery, some of which are fading and peeling.
* Really compact space; not suited for group dining. Not wheelchair accessible.
Recommended mostly for single or couples dining, especially where pictures are a key consideration.
So Concave is easily one of the popular PH restaurants that would come up in your google search so its only right I visited.
I walked in here late Friday evening and from the ambience and amazing decor, I totally get the hype.
The food menu was quite limited. I had the waitress telling me about meals that were not on the menu so my order was eventually based on what she said.
I had the Jambalaya rice with chicken wings which was quite delightful and paired nicely with my mixed fruit smoothie. Based on the location the food is a little pricy but not surprising.
Overall, I do recommend and would most likely be returning.

a week agoThe food is delicious and the service is excellent. It’s a nice place to hang out with friends, though a bit too small for hosting birthday parties.
