BoomTown Restaurant & Coffee Shop PHC

It’s a cool place, I went on a Sunday evening so it was somewhat crowded and busy. The DJ and Hypeman were good. The waiter who served us was really jovial and swift. I had the Boomtown special milkshake and it was really nice and I also tried the gizdodo which was equally delicious Maybe I’ll go there again but I’ll try not to go on a weekend so I’ll see what the atmosphere looks like on a weekday.

The environment was cozy. The foods were average. I had fisherman soup and it was average. I was slightly disappointed. The wings were average but okay. The environment was clean. The staff were friendly. I enjoyed their grilled fish though some people may complain because the pepper did not enter inside and other spices too. The fries were nice. I will recommend that.

I came here for my birthday lunch with my sister sometime in November 2024, It was my first time coming there and I didn’t regret it. The outdoor area was aesthetically pleasing for pictures, but the interior decor for the private lounge was a bit disappointing because it looked kind of boring. I would rate the food 80/100, it was amazing too, although i think you guys can do better with the way the food is served to be more aesthetically pleasing with the plating and all. The quantity and sizing of the food was very okay. One of the things I ordered was the jollof rice platter and the salad and it was totally worth the price. The jollof rice had the perfect texture, taste and it wasn’t too spicy for me, because I really don’t like spicy food, the salad was amazing and had the perfect texture too,it was so creamy. Meanwhile the Chinese fried rice that my sister ordered tasted very bland, it wasn’t worth it at all! she had to order for extra salad to be able to eat the rice. I believe you guys can do better with that dish. We ordered milkshakes too and it tasted divine! I got the strawberry flavor and my sister got the chocolate flavor, I finished my milkshake before the main course meal even came lol. I also love how we weren’t kept waiting for long before we got our order, not to mention that it was on a Friday evening and our order still came in pretty quickly Overall I had a really good birthday outing experience there, Thank you so much I’d definitely try that strawberry milkshake again when next I visit.

I went to this restaurant on a Friday. The ambience is good. I am rating the service one start because of how long it takes for the fisherman soup to be ready. We waited 1 hrs 30 minutes for soup and 45 minutes for chicken,chips, sauces, and all to be ready. We ordered water and juice. We had to keep on calling waiters to find the waiter that took the order. The basmati Chinese rice was absolutely tasteless. Overall, the long wait time made us buy more chips and milkshakes to quench the children's hunger. The Fisherman soup is absolutely amazing. So delicious. It compensated the wait time.

I went on a Saturday night and the place was so crowded and the spaghetti bolognaise I ordered for was not sweet and I couldn't even eat upto half of the food but I love the milk shake and isiewu. Will I go there again, maybe I will try other days and never will I order for spaghetti of any kind.
