This was definitely a once in a lifetime sort of culinary experience. Our meal was six courses with each meal reimagined with gastronomy, it was mostly tasty with the Lamb and lemongrass dressing being my favourite and my least favourite being the aubergines, the texture and flavour was just not for me. The most displeasing part was the consumption tax that was added to the bill, it added a significant amount to the total with VAT and service charges still added. We were not a fan of that.
I liked the atmosphere, the uniqueness of the dishes and the professionalism of the staff. Go here if you got money to burn and a taste for adventure.
If you want to have Problems with your heart, sodium problems and cholesterol go to Ona restaurant. This was a horrible experience for me and my husband that was in our honeymoon. The food was extremely salty, salty to the max. I order a Pineapple Mojito and it tasted like a cough syrup medicine. The only thing thats is good here is the excellent customer service. But there food is Horrible and for the price even the worst. I will never go to this restaurant again there price is extremely overrated. 7 shrimps for 75,000 naira no way. This restaurant messed up my honeymoon. A total dissater i wasted all my money for nothing here.
4.5 Stars! 🌟🌟🌟🌟✨
My friend invited me to dinner at Ona, and for once, I did not research the restaurant beforehand, so I had no idea what to expect.
From the entrance, it was a unique experience. The security and entrance staff were exceptionally gracious and friendly, without the usual disgruntled expressions one encounters at other highly rated restaurants.
The menu was another experience altogether, and kudos to our server, Favour, for explaining the different dishes to us. We opted for the Bao Down Tuesday menu at the end
The dishes' flavour profiles were distinct in a positive way, and if I ever crave something unique, I will certainly return.
Overall, it was a splendid experience; a bonus was meeting other friends who came to enjoy the same.
I recommend trying Ona at least once to shake things up from your usual restaurant scene. 👌🏽
Ona is undoubtedly a place where culinary excellence meets exceptional service. The combination of outstanding food, impeccable service, and a genuine commitment to accommodate my allergies truly set this restaurant apart.
The flavors were simply divine, and every bite was a harmonious symphony of delight.
It was an unforgettable dining experience. I wholeheartedly recommend this hidden gem to anyone seeking a taste of perfection.
Lovely restaurant. Food was amazing. Thought I had had enough of the Lagos restaurant scene. Very different from the usual. Delicious food from starters to main. The service was excellent. Well trained and polite staff. Willing to help with suggestions and friendly. The ambience is immaculate. Feels like a European seaside restaurant. I love it. It's a bit pricey but the quality is well worth it.
