Very disappointing experience. I ordered a meal with a salad, only to sit there for almost 30 minutes before being told the salad couldn’t be made because ingredients were missing. Why take the order in the first place if the kitchen isn’t stocked or the staff isn’t informed?
To make matters worse, I came with a 9-year-old child and his mother, and the restaurant served the child a mocktail instead of a simple, appropriate beverage. That alone shows a serious lack of judgment and professionalism.
Poor communication, poor service, and zero attention to basic customer responsibility. This place needs better training and much better management. Definitely not worth the time or money.
Awesome customer service from the time I was greeted by Chiamaka, to being served by Kevin.
My food was prepared fresh and to my dietary needs. To make the experience even better Vincent stopped by to ensure that the service was of the highest quality.
Thank you for an awesome dining experience!
Great food and atmosphere spoiled by absolutely horrendously poor service
I really dislike when the rating of a great restaurant is pulled down by their server staff, but this place deserves better (wait staff!).
The food is excellent. If you are willing to endure a 3 hour dinner of only two courses, with poor service this place is for you.
The buffet restaurant downstairs is a better choice if you are on a time crunch.
I really wish this place would value its customers rather than taking for granted that their clientele is a captive audience.
Wakame felt incredibly warm and cozy. The decor was lovely, and the whole place had a great, inviting feel. Especially the lighting, which was soft and just right.
The music was also perfect; quiet and not too loud, which made it easy to relax and chat. I can't even remember if we heard music, lol.
The wait staff were good too, attentive and helpful.
For my food, I had the beef tenderloin with jasmine rice, and it was amazing! The beef was super tender and cooked perfectly, and the sauce was delicious.
My friend ordered noodles, but they didn't really like theirs; it might have just been that type of noodle or maybe they just didn't like it.
The only real downside was the wait. Our drinks came fast, but it took about 40 minutes for our main dishes to arrive, which was a bit long.
Still, I enjoyed the experience overall!
