Tilapia & tinz African Signature Restaurant

The place was good. The ambience sets the mood. The food there was very decent but the grilled fish we had wasnt the best honestly(not seasoned to test properly).The service too was good The waiter who attended to us was quite good at getting our orders. I recommend to get the couple platter. Their seafood options are different varieties

Compared to my other experiences, I had a terrible experience today. Maybe they are constrained in handling weekend services. My family and I went in for takeout soups and small chops for lunch. We arrived at 1:15 PM and were supposed to be out in 40 minutes, according to the restaurant's estimate. However, our soups didn't come out until 2:50 PM, which was a wait of 1 hour and 35 minutes. In the meantime, we also ordered small chops with turkey and chicken. When they arrived, only one of the soups was the correct portion; the others contained between half to three-quarters of what we expected. When I pointed this out, the staff claimed it was a normal portion until I clarified that this was not our first time ordering. They took the soups back without apologies and kept my husband, children, and me waiting while other customers occupied our seats. Overall, I will not return to this restaurant nor recommend it due to poor customer service, a lack of management during rush hours, and indifferent staff and supervisors who did not seem concerned about providing a good experience for customers. I tried to get help from the supervisors—I assume the man and woman in casual attire were staff—but it didn’t improve the situation. I expressed our dissatisfaction and considered leaving without the soups since there was no communication about what was happening or how much longer we would have to wait. We ultimately left at 3:35 PM, feeling very displeased.

10/10 will visit again. The ambiance, the beautiful calm music, the delicious food. I went with a few friends and we had a lovely time. The picture I added doesn't do it justice at all

Tilapia fish wasn’t done to great taste and that is supposed to be their main dish but the catfish is quite good. I enjoyed the jumbo prawns with basmati rice and palm oil sauce, while communication is quite poor from their staffs but the atmosphere is quite good but will be great if the music isn’t turned on to loud so we customers won’t have to shout at each other when communicating with our friends.

The place is easy to find and have parking. The ambiance was great and relaxing with friendly staff. The food was great, with sizeable portions. I gave 3 stars 🌟 because 1. They could have left the chicken's head 🐔 of the platter it's not necessary or at least asked if the customer wants to be staring at the chicken head while they eat the wings. 2. They need to ask the customer hot spicy hot 🌶 they want the seafood sauce or have a level to it mild, medium or super hot. The sauces are spot hot, some guests don't enjoy super hot meals, it's take away from the fun and enjoying the food. 3. The crabs are baby crabs 🦀 they source for bigger crabs. Overall I would go back but ask for mild sauces.
