The A Steakhouse

A truly underwhelming experience. For a place named A Steakhouse, the steak was a 1 out of 10. I requested well-done, not burnt, but what I got was burnt. Considering the steak alone cost me N85,000, I expected far better quality. The mocktails were just colored water with ice—absolutely no real flavor. I was too annoyed to even complain, but the waiter’s dodgy moves made things worse. Clearly aware that the steak was bad, he approached me to ask if my steak was good and when I said no, he tried to shift the blame to me. He claimed that the steak got burnt because I didn’t remove it from the hot plate immediately after it was served. If that was so important, why didn’t he mention it when bringing the food? Instead, he waited until it was ruined. Of course I am sure it was already burnt straight from the grill. Note that I only left the steak on the hot plate for less than a minute to take a picture. If using a hot plate ruins the food, why not stop using it? I’ve eaten at plenty of restaurants that serve on hot plates without this issue. Overall, this was a disappointing and overpriced meal. I definitely won’t be returning.

This is a restaurant worth recommending, as it not only has an elegant environment but also serves food that leaves a lasting impression. I look forward to coming back to savor more delicious dishes!

I’ve been to many restaurant(s), in lagos and I’d say A-steakhouse falls under the top 3. Attention to guests needs, food, ambience and service delivery was top notch . The waiters are properly trained to the point of placing drinks coasters in the right spot, when clearing tables, arranging the big plates underneath before the small plates and cutlery by the side (all this process flow just to clear my table) I was so impressed that I feel bad for not adding more to my waiters tip ! *IMPORTANT NOTE*: It is EXPENSIVE, but worth every penny. 7 ⭐️

Service staff were great. The menu prices are not for the faint of heart. But the atmosphere gets you. Classy, with careibean vibes music playing in the background. The outdoor seating area is delightful, with the added touch of fresh greenery and even lemons growing right there in the garden. All in all a lovely lunch.

Nice place for hangout with friends, love ones and families for sure.. I havent tried the steak yet, maybe soon. But the ambience is good and the music is nice. Well, it is a bit pricey though but everything is fine.
