This is a lovely calm fine dining restaurant, very lovely view , neat , low music , so there is still opportunity to whisper sweet nothings in your partners ears, their meals don't even take time to get ready, and they will grill the stake right in front of you ...their meals are quite filling . By 7pm the lights go off , which I believe is the beauty of the place , we needed the lights to take great pictures , but they were all turned off , we literally had to beg them to put it on for a while , let's quickly take our pictures then they can switch it back off, they agreed , so we did that. Now let Me talk about their staff, their staff are so courteous, I know we disturbed them a lot , they didn't even act like we were disturbing, they wanted to help in anyway. I loved it and them . I'll recommend the restaurant for a romantic dinner ,
The food is amazing, and their desserts are mind-blowing. My go-to dessert is the chocolate fondant with ice cream. On Christmas Day 2024, I visited a new restaurant in Victoria Island, not too far from Taj, but I still went to Taj for dessert! The steak at Taj is also superb.
Had an after work dinner with my colleagues and the food was superb. Slightly expensive but worth it, amazing view and nice ambiance. The staff were warm and I tipped my server cos he was superb.
TAJ I must say has A1 with flavor!! I was not disappointed….. had the kiwi,ginger and garlic pineapple juice ( soo refreshing) only down expirience for me was the guinea fowl and yams was more bones than it was actual meat ( that I wasn’t pleased with )…. That being said Christine ( head waitress) was very sport on and knew what was available and unavailable , I LOVED THAT!!!!
I’ll definitely be back again but hope this time I have more meat on my meal than bones !

2 months agoI honestly did not like the food that much. The ambiance was nice though even though the Ac was not cooling so well. The service was great however.
