The environment and the restaurant itself were serene, quiet and pretty. The food was also very delicious. I got the Special Chinese Fried Rice, which was egg fried rice tossed with an assortment of various veggies and bits of beef, chicken and shrimps. Each part of the meal was well flavored yet combined beautifully to give a perfect, enjoyable overall taste. It can take up to 30 minutes to get your food, but it’s worth the wait! The customer service was also very good: prompt and helpful.
We had to book in advance for the Sunday buffet which is fair. It goes for 8,000 Naira per person and you can eat all you want.
My first thought when I went in was how noisy it was. There was a live band/performer and karaoke was available for the diners. It’s definitely not where you go for a quiet dinner but I think it’s a great spot for a friendly and lively meal.
The food was good. I had a mix of everything that caught my eyes lol. But my highlight of the meal was definitely the cupcakes , it was really good. Oh , and there was no shortage of drink.
I went on a Sunday which was their buffet. Firstly, the space is super small and crowded! You could literally see the staff were overwhelmed. Secondly, the food was nice but it was finishing super fast, you see something you like it and boom it is finished. Lastly, I loved the live band! They kept the place going. In all it was an okay experience, I believe they can do better.
I knew this restaurant as far back as 2013 when they were at ikoyi. They only had mini shops all over the island and mainland and the name was His Majesty. Was craving something different and found out its a full blown restaurant with a cozy environment. I'm happy for their growth...Still have their mind blowing 4-hit combo. Meals are still super tasty but made when you place your order so be ready to wait for an hr. Parking space is also limited but its located in a safe environment. They have buffet on Sundays but its on first come first serve. The earlier you come, the better and you have to be Street wise to hustle for food you paid for. Not a good experience really. Overall, it's a great place to eat
Most of the comments here are correct. Nice restaurant in the heart of Victoria Island that still offers great ambience and privacy. Staff are awesomely polite and quite attentive. Drinks are always 'criminality cold' as the food being a la carte is always served fresh and piping hot!
Parking is also fair considering how difficult this can be in V/I and their prices? Can be better for the quantity but then if you want quality, I think that's almost guaranteed here.
It doesn't get 5 stars because it's not perfect. But what can be improved? I don't know!
