Easily one of my favorite places to relax in Lagos. Culturally rich for all hip-hop heads! From the menu, the music, and all the way to the study room. Food is sooo tasty and the cocktails are to-die-for. Whew. Absolutely love it every time I’m there. The study room is incredibly comfortable and decent; great choices of books too.
Excellent food at this restaurant. It has a Rap Theme, with rap music and a library of music and rap themed books. They have an unique menu and their dishes were tasty. I ordered a Croaker fish with Yam fries that was mouthwatering. We also ordered some snails with plantain and rice croquettes that were also very good. Unfortunately the snails were tiny and we got only four pieces. When we asked about the size of the plate the chef told us that they normally have jumbo snails but that they were not available. So my question is that if you normally serve 4 jumbo snails , but they are not available, why not increase the number to 6 or 8 tiny snails to make the dish equivalent?
A real Rap joint, the vibe here is lovely, food is great and the music was a "rap". I like the fact that you are allowed to control the music, love the library of books next door. The place was clean and staff was attentive/friendly. I defo recommend this place. Enjoy!
I love how cozy and serene the place is. It's a restaurant/record store/ bookstore. My favorite part of Rapjoint is the bookstore. I love that their collection ranges from history to politics, biography, photography, and so on. If you're a fan of hip-hop you will love their record store as they've got various records on display for hip-hop fans.
Also, the lighting and ambiance are top notches and the representatives are very welcoming.
