Visited the Lagoon on a Thursday which happened to be the popular seafood night. The place was packed. There were long waits without reservation.. So book in advance.
The experience was selecting fresh seafood to be grilled or fried. If you are a seafood eater. This is near to heaven. There was a very wide range fish and shelled fresh fish - lobsters, crabs, prawns, octopus, calamari and a variety of fish. We selected a few and had another 30 minutes wait for it to arrive. The best was the Crab. Highly recommended. It was in a delicious vegetable sauce. Went well with the friend Rice. The other fish required a sauce which was unfortunately not provided.
The server were friendly but disorganised. It took 20 minutes before they took our drinks order. Another 15 minutes for starters.
I will return but maybe earlier in the day when I can relax and watch the bird fly across the Lagoon while cracking my lobster tail.
"The restaurant is very wonderful, the place is beautiful, and the atmosphere is magical. It's the first time in my life trying frog legs. They are very delicious, and I recommend trying them. The sushi is delicious and fresh, and the escargot is very tasty. This is my first visit, and it won't be the last."
Note : frog legs I a must 10000/10000
Thoroughly enjoyed the Thursday catch of the day. Was a really nice experience - you choose your fish and seafood, and then it’s prepared for you. Pricey but worth it. Make sure to come really early - 5pm or so or you won’t get a table!
Only been for the seafood Thursdays so that's what I'm reviewing.
The seafood is caught fresh that day from the Atlantic Ocean. You select what you want and it gets made for you exactly how you want (fried, roasted, etc). If you love seafood then you will absolutely love it.
I tried steak from the menu and it was rather meh but the freshly cooked seafood is definitely of the highest quality.
You get to eat by the water which is really nice and cool.
However, if you are there for the seafood Thursdays then be ready to wait and wait and wait and wait. It absolutely takes forever to get to your turn. And I mean forever. You also need to have booked a table.
I'm not a seafood person and absolutely hate waiting for food. However, if you love seafood and you are the most patient person on earth then you absolutely have to visit here.
