We made an online reservation for six people for New Year’s dinner, and even called the hotel earlier to try and add more guests to the booking. However, upon arriving at the restaurant, we were informed that the reservation was not confirmed. Unfortunately, the front desk staff, Afolashade, was neither helpful nor able to offer a solution. Thankfully, the supervisor, Endurance, stepped in and resolved the issue by securing a table for us.
The buffet featured a wide variety of food options. Priced at 45k, the dinner buffet included only water, which was a bit surprising—we expected at least some soft drinks or juice to be included. We had a wonderful evening. Our waitress, Rachel, was exceptional—attentive and provided outstanding service.
I’ve had Sunday buffet twice at Koriko, the most recent was Easter Sunday buffet where I saw nylon in my food, called the supervisor attention to it and she just took the food away, no apologies or anything
I also noticed the taste of their Nigerian dishes aren’t that exciting(seeing that I can cook a storm myself) , Jollof is off and so is the afang soup .
However, I think it’s still a good spot for Sunday brunch , their salad line up is heavily , peppersoup is bomb! And ohhh their Ofada sauce, killer
Their pastry is breathtaking!!!!!!!!!!!! That one remains a hit every single time
Buffet costs 35k per person (advisable to book reservations to get the best seats) and also to go early cos they close 3:30 or so
One of the restaurants at the vibrant Lagos Marriott Hotel in Ikeja GRA. I had a dinner buffet reservation with a few friends and was pleased with how quickly we were shown to our table upon arrival. The food was excellent, and the dessert options were especially good. However, I felt the buffet could have offered a wider variety for a place of its caliber. It was also a bit disappointing to find that no drinks or juice were included—just water.
The buffet chef was fantastic, and the linguine pasta he prepared was exceptional. Unfortunately, only a few of us managed to get some, which was a bit of a letdown.
This review is a little overdue, but I thought it was worth sharing. I’ll definitely be back for more soon—especially for that linguine, haha!
I had my birthday celebration with a couple of friends here and we had a good time. We went in for their dinner buffet which costs 28k naira per head. The food was pretty decent, and everything was done orderly. As soon as a particular food runs out, it’s refilled so if you want to eat till you drop and get value for your money, you should definitely give it a try. We also ordered their mocktail and we absolutely enjoyed it (This is not part of the buffet as the buffet comes with just water)
Overall, it was a nice experience.
Koriko & Co is one of the restaurants serving inside the Marriot hotel in the heart of ikeja Lagos.
Direction to here is very accessible and the environment is serene with ample parking space
Our total bill was 111,000 for the Sunday buffet that is 35,000 each persons and I took a Virgin Daiquiri which sums the total
I personally had a good time with the Live band giving me cool vibes with nice music. I also enjoyed the meal although I wish they had many other options like on-site Spaghetti chef for various pasta dishes
There’s also nice places to take good pictures around the hotels with good lightening .
Overall it was a fun experience for us.
