Good pricing but could barely be further from fancy dining. Basically a canteen, just a bit more upscale and happens to be situated in Victoria Island. Place is very spacious, which is quite good.
Portions are enormous. Less than 50% chance you are going to be able to finish your meal. Food quality is also quite good.
Food was generally great. This is the most important aspect of a restaurant and their saving grace.
Service was attentive at the beginning but he got distracted later on and was unnecessarily slow to bring the bill. Waiter asked for my phone number as I paid via bank transfer (POS not working!) and I thought this was unnecessary to share my contact information. It was their job to verify payment has gone through after all, as that was the mode of payment I was offered, apart from cash.
Atmosphere was a bit low, but could be due to time of day we went.
Jevinik Restaurant has great and spacious environment to eat in peace. Attendant are all male, some married men. Had a meeting there with my colleague. And he praised their meal. Always ask for the menu before you order. Anyway good work guys...more room for improvement...
Terrible parking arrangements would wait for sometime to get parking g at lunch time and exiting is equally hard. The location is fantastic, food is great though the selection is limited no appetizer, or dessert just the main course. The waiters are polite and professional they are very neat and well presented. I would recommend this place but not for birthday parties if you don't plan on sleeping in the parking area
Food - 2/5
Service - 5/5
Ambience - 2/5
Cost - 2/5
Unfortunately the food was just not nice. I thought it was just me but the person I was with (ordered something different) and also complained of the same things.
The food just did not hit the spot at all. I had heard many things about Jevinik and was excited but greatly underwhelmed.
The restaurant is relatively clean and the staff are friendly and helpful but the food itself is a miss for me.
I would not recommend their amala as it is hard and difficult to enjoy. We both agreed that the soups were not the best (ogbonno & white).
I didn’t find that the price was justified either, expensive for what it is and their are many better places to eat amala; I wont be back unfortunately.
