From the moment I stepped into the grand foyer of this opulent hotel, I knew I was in for an extraordinary experience. The ambiance exudes elegance, with its sophisticated decor and impeccable attention to detail. The dining options were nothing short of extraordinary; each meal was a culinary masterpiece, showcasing a blend of flavors that delighted the palate. The selection of drinks, whether at the bar or paired with meals, was exceptional, offering a range of carefully curated beverages that complemented the gourmet cuisine impeccably. The service was flawless, with a staff dedicated to ensuring every moment was a delight. It was a luxurious retreat where indulgence met perfection, making every meal a memorable affair.
This is an average restaurant. Firstly, you have to climb a mountain of stairs to get to the rooftop. There are so secure parking spaces. The food is just decent. However, it's fitting for students who want to experience Karaoke on Thursday nights or hangout with friends.
There is a pleasant rooftop space that is great for a hangout with friends. They also have a lounge area which gives you a more private indoor vibe but could have a more modern decor and ambience.
Food is actually good and reasonably priced, and the service is not bad. However, there was a long wait time of over an hour for my food.
There is no in-premises parking, so you have to park on the street. Also, most of the building is a hotel/lodge so you have to climb a generous number of flights of stairs to get to the lounge and rootop area due to the absence of an elevator.
I personally have issues chilling in a place with some young people that look questionable/conduct and have the typical "G-boy" appearance. But it understandable that this is close to Unilag and you can't but have them around.
All in all, it is a chill place to casually hang with your friends.
The pepper soup took over two hours to come out it was nice though but the wait time was ridiculous they kept saying 15 minutes more!! The fries were dry and not crispy at all the chicken was too peppery.
I have to say that the this place is an hidden gem, with great views and a lovely atmosphere and nice music playing in the background. You get to enjoy a nice game of football while having your drink and whatever you ordered from the menu. The menu is quite restricted though, which forces you to just stick with what they have. I still had a great time though and would definitely visit another time
