Giving them a four star for good food and not five stars because their food is expensive; you’d have to budget 20,000 minimum per person to enjoy the package.
They have the best frozen margarita I’ve had in Lagos. Their spicy sauce and Chilli sauce is awesome. Sweet Chilli Chicken is really good.
Their mashed potatoes and chicken breasts are really good .
They have a variety of food, margaritas and other drinks to pick from. Ambience is really nice. Sunday nights there is a live band and that was nice, I didn’t expect that.
Overall it’s a really nice place and it’s worth it.
Due to their extreme price increase this warrants a 2 star review.
Yes, they have some TexMex items but help us all... I most definitely can compare this to a USA quality as Tex-Mex is an American invention ... specially of Mexicanos that brought their indigenous foods to the states (Texas) and melded things like chimichangas. It literally was invented by mistake so the story goes, a burrito was dropped in the deep fryer and boom. Guess what though?! A chimi should never exceed $12USD.
This isn't some small business with no other means but a corporation with reach and access. Hell, they own like 2-5 miles stretch of land in addition to the hotel area. Anywhoo, $36 for Supreme Fajitas ... I hurried up and changed my order. Combo fajitas used to be $20USD at 10k Naira. It's now 12,600. Enchiladas range from 14-30USD. AND, Y'ALL I'M Being GENEROUS assuming you're getting the Black Market naira rate at 500 Naira's for every $1 US dollar.
Now, if you swipe a US card you'll pay an additional $16-27 for every 2 entrees.
They no longer have Aquafina which is a Plus. They have Biggie water. But the price didn't drop so it's all offensive, to me.
Steak - $52USD. Sadly I'm okay with that for a ribeye. I love Ruth Chris and formidable steakhouses so I can sit with $50.
A side our sour cream works to be $3.80 and it's a dollop alright. Not a scoop. Not an American portion size by any stretch of the imagination. But it doesn't have the after taste so many other places in the country seem to have with their Sour Cream.
Look, I know they are expecting tourists and expats (1)that eat here because it's convenient, (2) as there's not much competition in this field and (3) we'll desire such if you're form the states but baybeeee at these prices they have helped me restrain myself and I've lost weight as a result of (1) chips never in stock, (2) when they have chips it's made form flour not corn tortillas, (3) chips and salsa do not come GRATIS with your meal, (4) portions are not extreme but they are filling and (5) they are on business or vacation so money will flow but geez louise ... It's hard to digest this let alone invite locals to eat here knowing their prices are criminal. It's robbery without a gun.
Que sera sera y kudos on additional weight loss.
It’s a lovely place but a bit pricey, came on a friend’s recommendation and got the shrimp quesadillas and French fries. They were delicious. Amazing service as well.
It's the best restaurant in Eko hotel & tbh they have the best margarita in Lagos and added new food to their menu. THERE'S SNAILS 🤩🤩🤩
and the tacos tastes a lot better. Everything is perfect

a year agoI am pretty picky when it comes to Mexican food. I was not disappointed. I ordered the chimichanga and it was a taste of home with every bite.
