I haven't had a burger in years so I was very expectant and thankfully, I wasn't disappointed. They have a wide range of burgers so it took me a bit of time to decide on what to eat. I eventually settled for the south south burger and tropical delight drink which arrived promptly under 20mins. The burger was succulent and beautifully messy. It didn't fall apart while eating it and the juices were just on point. I'll definitely be going back another time

Background of my yesterday's review: I had been craving a burger for days and after researching I decided to purchase a meal from Gourmet Burger Bar. I couldn't get it earlier cause I was at Lakowe but then waited till I had business in VI. Finally, ordered yesterday and was heartbroken, thus, my previous review is below. But now I have a change of mind. Thank you Gourmet Burger Bar staff for exceeding my expectations. The manner in which you handled my complaint, your kind service, and my meal are all 5-star worthy.
I placed an order via Jumia food and didn't get my complete order delivered. And finally was told I can't get a refund or can't get the order redelivered to my address. I am dissatisfied based on this.
The burger was just OK. Not like what the pictures show. It's supposed to be a beef burger but it was not at all. I have purchased that 2.0 burger with the bacon. I'm from America and have yet to find a place in Lagos that can cook good hamburgers. My search will end for now because I've been to about ten. Enough money wasted lol. Only place that comes close to having a good burger is ouevre bistro. The employees are very nice and it's a great chill spot and it's a clean place so I give it two stars.
Gourmet burger bar is same as Samantha’s bistro. It’s a lovely place to eat as they’ve got lots of varieties on the menu. I was there with a couple of friends to try out there burgers. It one of the best burgers have had in a while, there are about 15 different types of burgers on the menu and each one is different from the other and the owner has a way of playing around with the making of the burgers that make each one different from the other, I was able to try about 3 of the burgers and I can say they very delicious and I’m sure this place will be one of my spots for burger in Lagos. The environment is so cool and relaxing. We sat outside which is a bit spacious and will be great for a kind of group eat out or hangout. I was lucky to meet the owner who is a lovely lady and very friendly and engaging. All in all Gourmet burger bar is place to visit yo have a taste of good burger in Ikoyi.
