Disgusting and avoid this place like a plague.
I came here based on the reviews to treat my friend.
I ordered pounded yam and edikang-ikong with croaker fish. The pounded yam was soo cold and dry The edikang was soo tasteless. No salt. No maggi. It was soo dry. The croaker fish was nothing to write home about.
I waited more than 30 mins for the food only to be extremely disappointed by the quality of food.
If I were you, I will avoid this place like a plague.
It was a beautiful experience at Cassia Restaurant yesterday. I went there on a Sunday lunch date and I had the seafood okro soup and pounded yam. It was really delicious and homely. I didn't want it to finish cos it was just perfect as I imagined. Me that don't usually like plenty soup, I made sure I ate it all
My friend had Nkwobi. I didn't taste from it though but looking at it, it was calling my name! My friend is usually insatiable when it comes to food and he had only good things to say about the nkwobi.
The service was superb. Took about 20-30mins for it to get made and served but I was too carried away by my date that I barely even noticed. I had a great time and I will definitely recommend it.
They also have the lounge which is cozy and good for intimate moments with your love one.
Are you a lover of akwa ibom and Calabar meals? Cassia is the place to be. I totally loved their fisherman soup, it was the besttttt things!
Price:
Pounded yam and Fisherman soup: N5,500
Plantain porridge: N1,800
I guess i and my friend were been profiled, i had gone there a week before and enjoyed their meal and services, however, getting there today the lady (one dark slim girl) at the counter neglected us for close to 30 minutes until we got angry, left and went to yellow chilli where we were properly attended to
I passed by on my way to the Fish Shop. 4 stars as I have no reason to give them anything else. It is not very visible and is somewhere you need to know is there to visit.
I will update this review after my visit here.
