The place has enough packing space and has a great view but they need to upgrade in terms of service and also work on their outdoor seating roof. Is a calm hide out to chill.
Definitely not a place to visit to have a chill moment in the day time. My experience in Xovar was superlatively negative. I visited on the afternoon. Their prices for basic meals were exorbitant; the soft drinks prices skyrocketed. There was power failure and they refused to turn on the generator even after I ordered my meal and drink. No explanations offered. I ate in the relatively dark scenery graced with the heat and sweat pouring out of my pores. Their waitresses were inappropriately dressed, having their bellies and navels showing with tight fitted pants on. Everything about their service, as I witnessed was below par and purely appalling.
The girl's bathroom handle needed fixing the last time I was there and when I went back a few days later it was fixed. I enjoyed my meal and drink they were good. However, I think some of the waitresses here need urgent training or laying off.
Large parking space and large seating areas both outdoor and indoor for a bit of privacy.
There is a live band and karaoke every week so if that's your thing please come chill here.
This place has a club and an indoor and outdoor bar too.
We met a very nice waitress called Stella who made us feel welcome and served us well. I was impressed with her service.
If you like a serene place that's not usually crowded, Xovar got you.
My observation is there is a MASSIVE room for improvement. Do an overhaul or get better management.
It's a good choice for local delicacies like Nkwobi, peppersoup etc..if you're scared of hot and spicy food be cautious when ordering meals. There's a lot of parking space, they've also got indoor and outdoor seating. Not a family friendly place though, so no toddlers and little kids.
It's a good choice for a lazy evening out.
They have a lot of space. Indoors and outdoors. Parking space too. It's very close to House on the Rock church. We tried the catfish barbecue with fried yam as a side, the Singapore noodles, peppered goat meat with jollof. The portions were decent. Staff were a bit distracted. I also wonder if the staff are required to wear crop tops even when it's cold. I hope not.
