Busy cafe in Eko hotel, service was good, the food was average, I got the Nigerian breakfast and the egg was overcooked (slightly rubbery) and sausage was a little bland. The plantain wasn’t ripe enough so it was hard and it was plonked as two full slices cut in half on the plate, which was unsightly. The cafe is clean and the staff are quick though.
The waiter was very polite & professional
The food took approximately 30minutes to come , enjoyed the pancakes very well but the pizza was not really it for me, the juice was fresh but still had a sour taste , loved the Ice cream
Also got coffee was okay also
The atmosphere was vey accommodating
Loved the entire experience
It's difficult to think of a more beautifully presented café or coffee shop in Lagos. That is how visually appealing Toast is. What an absolute gem. But, it's Eko Hotel. Ultimately. The prices are steep, and your bill will ramp up quickly, watering the eyes and blurring the otherwise visual treat you savored initially. Buyer beware.
The food was a m a z i n g !!! Their pain perdu is absolutely a must. I highly recommend it. Their beef panini ...just wow !!! While the hotel is so so, this restaurant is a must do. Just don't sleep there.
