Nice cozy ambience but they should work on their drainage especially if you're outdoor. I could barely stand the unpleasant odour asides that, food is great. Oh you should try the palm wine and Stout
The Afang soup is Awesome
The Junction restaurant serves good food without any frills. It's a bit more expensive than fast food, but the portion sizes are big and worth the price.
The restaurant has a relaxed atmosphere where you can catch up and be a little loud with friends, and the food tastes good especially the local dishes.
However, the waiters could be more attentive.
Overall, if you want tasty and homely local cuisine at reasonable prices, you should check them out.
The vegetable catfish and yam was so delicious. I think that was the best thing I ate in lagas. I'll say most of the food I ate at the restaurant was good but, the soups was not seasoned well at all. We ordered the vegetable soup and egusi soup. They need to work on better recipe for those soup
Wait times of over 1 hour 45 mins, and the restaurant wasn’t full.
Got our menus taken from us since they didn’t have enough.
We had to chase up on each item of our order before getting it, including drinks and starters, and found out our waitress actually forgot to tell the kitchen of one of our food orders.
Whilst some parts of the meal we waited so long for were acceptable, others were not e.g. turkey and chicken was hot but the rice was cold and plantain was underdone - also barely any beef in our beef roll pastries.
I have been here 4 times and every single time it’s a hit. I haven’t ordered anything else but palmwine as my drink of choice. It’s such a beautiful space with nice staff and great food. The Isi Ewu and everything is top notch. The only thing I didn’t like is the Abacha coming empty and I have to buy fish or meat. They didn’t even scatter dry fish or crayfish inside.
