Absolutely love the atmosphere, so calm and elegant. Music was soft and sonorous, and the staff were so cautious, helpful and highly knowledgeable about the menu.
Food tasty okay… not awesome, and definitely not at part with the price point.
Milkshake was also just okay.
Most ideal for date night, casual meeting and intimate gatherings.
Parking is quite limited.
Wheelchair accessibility can be improved.
Overall 7/10 experience, not bad AT ALL.
Unfortunately, this was a very disappointing experience.
We ordered the lunch package, which included an alcoholic beverage. We politely asked if this could be replaced with water or juice as we didn’t want alcohol, but were told it wasn’t possible and were forced to take it anyway.
Service was extremely slow and lacked initiative. When we asked for gloves to eat our chicken wings, the waitress disappeared for several minutes, returned empty-handed saying only black gloves were available, then left again and came back much later with regular gloves. Simple requests took far too long.
The food quality was poor across the board. The mashed potatoes were hard and grainy and more like low quality pounded yam, nothing like mashed potatoes should be. The salmon was extremely dry, overcooked, and inconsistent in temperature. After waiting nearly two hours for our meals, another plate arrived two minutes later with the explanation that “the chef insisted,” which was frustrating rather than reassuring. The chips tasted fishy and were soaked in oil. The braised beef barbecue was cold and appeared to be plain beef drowned in bottled Heinz’s barbecue sauce. The pasta portion was shockingly small considering the long wait time and poor quality. The chicken wings were the only thing we somewhat enjoyed, though even those were average.
Due to the experience, we asked to pay only for the items we actually ate. A staff member wearing AirPods while working came to ask what was wrong, but instead of listening, she argued that the service was good. After prolonged discussion, they eventually agreed to let us pay for what we consumed, yet still included the alcoholic drinks we never wanted.
It took another 30 minutes just to receive the bill. After we paid, the same staff member returned saying she had forgotten to add the pasta to the receipt. Shortly after, we were accused of taking an eyeliner from the restroom, which was extremely unprofessional and upsetting. At that point, we decided to leave out of frustration. Only then did the manager appear and chase us outside demanding payment for the pasta.
Overall, the service was unprofessional, the food was below standard, and the entire experience was stressful. I would not recommend this restaurant.
A pretty chilled restaurant in Victoria Island Lagos! Had dinner with my friends and here’s my overall experience!
The service was average, our food took about 15mins to come out!
I had a passion fruit daiquiri but it was below average, tasted too watered down, I didn’t like that. I had bbq wings for starters and it was very tasty and my main dish was mashed potato with salmon which was also nice!
The ambience is very cozy especially at night but the lighting is not very picture or video friendly.
Lastly, the price and I would say it’s slightly expensive by my own standards! The bill for 4 people was over #200,000, overall it wasn’t worth the price!
Would I recommend? Hardly..
Would I visit again? No! Nothing special

4 months agoThe food was good. Three of us paid almost N300k so it's quite steep. Hold your coins. I felt it could have been better lit.
