The atmosphere is very nice and the service is very good and the staff is friendly, but the food is not as expected. The spring rolls are not bad, but the sweet and sour sauce of the prawns platter is so red as if color additive is putten into it and its taste is not as good as it should be. We ordered another beef noodles platter , it is better than the sweet & sour, but also should be better, i added salt to it, it should have a better taste of soya sauce. The prices are much more than the food taste.
The food is, as always, oe of the best Chinese I've ever had in Lagos. The prices are bit higher than usual but so are the food portions. A large is a LARGE.
We were a group of four and had the chicken corn soup (as usual) and the king prawn mayo springrolls for starters - 10/10; the special fried rice (10/10) the shrimp chilli dish (15/10 is possible) the black bean beef dish (9/10 very tender meat!) and the chicken green pepper dish (6/10)
Tip - If you have extra and you'd like to take it away, ask for a dish to pack it YOURSELF
Celebrated a 70th birthday for 60 people.
Efficient and attentive waiters.
Nice ambiance.
Delicious food.
Spacious private dining room.
Love it. Would be back and would definitely recommend.
"Do you have any food allergies?" Thoughtful question by my host. I have none. So we ended up here.
Mini feast fast for 3. Tasteful dishes. Lovely ambience. Well maintained actually because I was here in 2012 and it still looks good.
Toilet was clean and staff were really responsive. Parking spaces may be an issue though they have a way of making it work.
I can't talk about pricing, someone else paid (my host), but she would have let me know if it were overpriced.
Authentic Chinese cuisine, as confirmed by fellow diner, who is a Chinese indigen. Attentive service. Large cavernous room that lacks atmoshpere but suitable for birthdays and celebrations. Very generous portions - you will leave with takeaway packs!
