I would rate ILE IYAN restaurant a 10 out of 10 for their OLOWO-Eko Combo with Egusi soup and pineapple juice. The food was delicious and satisfying, and the pineapple juice was refreshing. The staff welcomed me warmly and provided excellent service throughout my meal. Overall, a fantastic dining experience.
Great customer service for sure , atmosphere is way too small, have to wait for people to finish eating to go inside if you need an Air conditioner.
I do love the old school Yoruba songs that were played , also like the fact that the food came out very quick , BUT Please do not get their efo riro, it was filled with water and no chopped proteins are included in their efo riro. The pounded yam also did not taste like it was actually pounded . I had no taste of yam in it at all.
It’s def a one and done experience, my friend rated their EGUSI 5/10
The food was just ok. For the price, I was expecting more. Also, they didn't have goat meat and some other food I wanted to order. We sat outside, and I loved the relaxing vibe of the environment. Overall, it was a nice experience.
Well brave young server got the establishment 3 for food and 3 for her service. Light went which wasnt her fault took a while before assistance came. But her lazy colleagues reduced the astomosphere to 1; never seen so many staff happy to do nothing when customers dey. Ps we where not the only customers portion good and once food was heated well 👀 worthwhile
The food was too pricey for the poor quality and service. The soup was all oil and pepper with no taste. The goat meat and snails were poorly seasoned...and the iyan was served cold! Who does that.....but then maybe we went on the day the kitchen crew was having a bad day
I cook occasionally and know quite well that sometimes even the best planned dishes can turn out poorly. But I'm not sure I will have a second tryout.
