Bungalow Restaurant Ikeja offers an impressive mix of Nigerian, Mexican, Lebanese, and Japanese cuisines in a stylish setting. There’s the outdoor and indoor space, and the ambiance is cozy, with excellent service. I had their chocolate milkshake and it was so good that I had a full body shake on first sip.
This place has so much potentials to become more! The food is great and comes out fast, the service is questionable as it would be nice if waiters do routine checks on guests to see if they need anything instead of leaving for long periods. Guests sometimes have to stand to get their attention and with the way the restaurant is set up, it’s quite easy to lose track.
Again, the food is great! And not very expensive. There’s an indoor and outdoor bar (better in the evenings due to the sun).
I don't think I can say bad things about this place 🤔, I'll always associate it with a very great memory so they can take all my money!!!
Food: The food was honestly just there for me. Jollof rive is my safe food, and I think theirs could have tasted better. I really enjoyed the chicken wings and sauce.
The cocktails were also nice, I think the cups could be bigger and straws smaller.
Customer service: This was really great, someone attends to you almost immediately you're seated and they let you know how long to wait for the food.
Ambience: The place was quite nice, the side I sat was a bit one the noisy side from a really boisterous group, but it was also still private enough to get proposed to and not attract too much attention
Price: The prices were on the high side and also take note that they don't include VAT so you'll be charged for that separately.
Overall, it's a really nice place
Good Experience!
Located within the ever busy Ikeja GRA, this is always a favourite go-to place for dining, hang-out and meet-up with friends and colleagues.
The meals are delicious, well-done and well-presented. There is a variety of local, continental and intercontinental dishes and drinks. You can't run out of options.
There's outdoor sitting, lounge, dining area and bar amongst others. I also like the fact that there are TVs all around and you can catch up on on-going matches while relaxing.
However, the few times I've visited, I've experienced a bit of delay in being attended to by the waiters/attendants. You'll also have to be patient with getting served especially when there's a lot of people.
There's available parking however, it can be limited and a bit of challenge especially during peak periods.
Overall awesome place to visit.
