Abstract Ikoyi

Lovely ambience with a nice selection of background music. I love that it has an art gallery in the building, so you can walk round and appreciate some art work. Their food prices are not too pricey and are of sizeable portions. Their Chicken nuggets tastes so good I liked their Chapman as well. Although I felt the Exotic Fried Rice I was served was a bit salty. Overall it's a decent space to visit.

The external view of this property is so intimidating, my friends thought I was taking them to a dungeon or ritual site with all the iron doors and sculptures displayed outside. The interior however is a treasure cove and an art lover's dream space, the restaurant is located within the art gallery. The meals are very nice yet affordable and the portions large, there's however a very long wait for the food (both times we had to request for it to be packed as it was getting quite late) and we were told it's because the food is freshly made when you arrive so you're advised to go through the menu and place your order before arriving.

Mmmm... Nice surprise. A restaurant inside an art gallery. Its a relatively small restaurant. There was a birthday party when I arrived for lunch, even though I called ahead and made a reservation, there was almost no where to sit. The music couldn't be turned down because of the birthday party and I didn't like that very much. But the food was very good. And the staff was friendly. It was nice to walk through the gallery. Beautiful Nigerian art.❤

I enjoyed my time at Abstract Restuarant, their meals are hot, fresh and good value for money. There's also an art gallery connected that you can visit within the early hours of the day, perfect for people who love African art.

When they said “looks can be deceiving”, they were speaking about Abstract Ikoyi. This place is so much beautiful than what the structure looks like. The ambience is so amazing, the soft music is everything. Environment was clean, smelt so nice, tables were neatly laid.. I was really impressed to be honest. Pricing was mid range(I’ll add the menu below), food was really nice for the price and quite a lot and I’m not joking.. everyone that visited while I was there packed their meals home(and so did I and my friends) 🤣🤣🤣 Their staff are very nice, well trained and ever ready to help. The only reason I’m giving 4 stars is cos we had a tough time paying our bills, the POS wouldn’t work and there was no network to make transfers. We had to book an Uber with one of the staff to go withdraw at an ATM by past 9pm. Asides that, amazing experience.. I’ll visit again.. but with cash
