One of my new found favourites, staying next door at the Holiday Inn Express and stumbled across this place by chance one afternoon early into my stay.
From the moment I walked in, it felt like the team had known me for years and were welcoming an old friend back to the bar, stayed for a quick pint or two and some amazing food, then left as I was working the day after, few days later, popped back in for a few pints and I was welcomed once again with open arms and hugs, they remembered me from about 7 days before hand and sat with me asking how my time was going so far.
Before I knew it, I'd sank about 8 pints just sat chatting away with the team, genuinely feels like walking into my local back in the UK! Rose (Manager) and the team at Sidewalk have really, really a special thing here.
I could write an entire novel about how great everyone is in here and the times we've shared, and the friends I've made.
If you're ever in KL, not even at the Holiday Inn, please. Come and visit this place, I promise you, you will not regret it and will definitely be back again.
Still got a few more weeks left in KL and I can assure you I WILL be back to create some amazing memories with the guys here.

Scammers!!!
For two beers and one chicken Kebap they billed me 166 RM. I have not paid such expensive prices in any other restaurants for such poor service.
They get Arab food from the next restaurant, I personally checked the price for chicken kebap. It’s not even 1/3rd that they charge.
Tourist scammers. Avoid these guys!
The restaurant manager Ms. Malar was very nice and hospitable with excelent personality.. realy enjoyed our night there. Will make it a point to visit the outlet whenever in KL. The other staff was also very pleasent & accomadating. Wonderful environtment. Remarkable band & good selection of music..
Hosted my dad's birthday event at bricks last December & the team did an amazing job at organising & ensuring that we were well taken cared off. The team was friendly, accommodating to help us out with setting up decorations & the place has a great ambience for a private party!
Overall everyone had an amazing time!
Definitely would recommended to check out bricks for your events or a place that you can chill at during the weekends.
Wow, the Sidewalk Restaurant & Bar KL blew my mind! It's the ultimate chill spot with a friendly atmosphere that instantly makes you excited. The owners, Mr Nathan and Mrs Mala, go above and beyond to make you feel special. And let's not forget the amazing, Jenna and Scully, who always have big smiles and deliver impeccable service. It's a must-visit for anyone looking for an exciting and unforgettable experience!
