⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (4/5)
I visited Rufus & Angels Restaurant today with some friends for dinner, and overall, it was a good experience with a few areas that could be improved.
First, parking was a bit of a challenge. The restaurant doesn’t seem to have sufficient parking space, so many customers had to park along the street nearby. It wasn’t a major inconvenience, but it would definitely help if more designated parking could be provided.
When we got inside, the place was already packed, which speaks well of its popularity. Thankfully, there was additional seating upstairs that comfortably accommodated the crowd. I appreciated that the management thought ahead to ensure enough seating, even during busy hours.
We ordered the Chique Bites Platter, along with two Chapmans and two Sweet Passion cocktails. The waiter informed us that our food would be ready in about 20 minutes, but it ended up taking close to 40 minutes. While the delay was a bit frustrating, I really appreciated that the waiter kept coming over to give us updates. That gesture made me feel acknowledged and valued as a customer, which softened the wait.
When the food finally arrived, the platter looked very appetising. I liked the way the food was neatly spread out, making it easy to sample each part of the dish without it feeling cluttered. The drinks were another highlight—the taste was refreshing, and I especially liked that they weren’t watered down with too much ice. The balance was just right and amplified the overall dining experience.
Another positive point is the menu itself—it was detailed, clearly priced, and offered a wide variety of food and drinks. This made ordering very straightforward and transparent.
However, there were a few downsides worth mentioning. The restaurant lacked a nice, aesthetic spot for taking pictures. Considering that many customers (especially groups of friends) like to capture their dining experiences, having a dedicated photo-worthy corner or backdrop would make the atmosphere even more enjoyable. Additionally, the staff were not wearing name tags, which made it difficult to identify them individually. This is a small but important detail that could improve customer–staff interaction.
At the end of the night, our total bill came to ₦52,673.93 including VAT, which felt fair for the quality and quantity of food and drinks we received.
In summary, I would say Rufus & Angels is a good place to dine with friends. The food, drinks, and service were all good, and while there were some areas for improvement (parking, staff identification, and aesthetics), the overall experience was pleasant. I’d definitely recommend it, and I look forward to seeing how the restaurant enhances its offerings in the future.
We had their chicken shawarma. Shawarma was creamy and delicious with thick chunks of properly seasoned and grilled chicken along with veggies. My favourite part? They were generous with the chicken chunks
Their staff was polite and prompt
I will be trying out more on their menu. Totally recommend
I went with my family and we had an amazing time. The lady who attended to us was so calm and kind, constantly apologizing for the slight delay with our order which was really thoughtful.
The burger was a solid 10/10 and the chicken was absolutely delicious. Honestly, everything we ordered was a hit ❤️❤️
And that smoky, flavorful jollof rice🤤? It was perfection and hit just the right spot! 💃🏽💃🏽💃🏽
The atmosphere was top-notch 💯. I’ll definitely be coming back with my kids because there wasn’t a single complaint.
Amazing place to chill with friends, the atmosphere was calm, the food was very tasty, service was alright.
The place was packed when I went so I had to wait a bit longer than usualfor my food but other than that it was all good.
This is a place suggested by a friend of mine, the location was easy to find.
First of all the atmosphere, the atmosphere was very captivating , I loved the music, the art, the chairs were very comfortable, overall a lovely place
Next is the service, they have very great service
one of the most important part, the food. Honestly the food was just there, it’s nice, but not what I expected for the price, but the drinks were amazing. For the drinks I had virgin colada, and my friend had milkshake, that milkshake is one of the best I ever tasted. I had noodles and egg, my friend had pasta. But I sha finished the food. But and a very big but, the food took timeeeee, like, thankfully the drinks came early
Finally, the price, for 3 people we spent about 50k , 45k for us, and 10 to go, in all, so it is fair for all we got .
