Pizze-Riah restaurant

This place is arrogance and emptiness rolled into one. They can not deliver the most badic standard of hospitality , the staffs are so rude! Untrained and completely lacking in manners .it’s shocking that a restaurant can exist with such level of mediocrity and attitude. My partner and I came on a Monday evening after a long day at work hoping to have a peaceful dinner . Barely anyone was inside the restaurant but the waiter said we couldn’t sit where we wanted with a dismissive look on his face , his reason being that we were just ‘two’ regardless of all the tables being empty around us my partner was visibly irritated . We were eventually seated , we went through the menu and placed our order while waiting we saw a man walking in, he sat right where we were restricted to sit on after a particular waiter said we couldn’t sit there. After eating we requested for the bill and on the bill we were charged for the chilli oil we used on the table meanwhile it wasn’t stated on the menu that the pizza we ordered comes with a chilli oil and that there’s a separate charge for that aside that not being stated on the menu, I’ve never been to a restaurant where I will be charged extra for using the chilli oil on the table just for 2 or 3 sprays on my pizza . So my partner asked why we were charged for the chilli oil when we don’t get to take the rest of it plus why it wasn’t stated on the menu making us aware that we were going to get charged for it. He looked us up and down , he rolled his eyes and muttered under his breath when we asked again his attitude only got worse from that point he told me in pidgin English to tell my partner ‘ a foreigner ’ to “not piss him off” he repeated it severally , his tone was dripping with attitude and zero courtesy I looked around and saw four idle staff members standing completely uninterested in what was happening very poor set of uncouth individuals. when we requested to see the manager he said there was no one we could speak to. No management around! At that point we decided we’ve had enough my partner walked up the staffs while the untrained waiter kept raising his voice at us warning us not to piss him off. My partner explained the situation to one of the staffs hanging and he was just standing there giggling at my partner’s face saying or doing nothing! While the waiter got physical with my partner grabbing his hand tightly, not one person attempted to fix the situation or even acknowledge us. We eventually started leaving , No Apology, no effort, nothing!! They just starred at us and carried on giggling . It’s experiences like this that make people lose faith in Nigerian hospitality . There’s no training no sense of customer care, and absolutely no pride in service , this is my first time here and it will most certainly be my last . untrained staffs! Businesses like this perpetuate the narrative that Nigerian businesses have the worst service , they represent this with so much pride . Pizzeriah is a disgraceful establishment run by people who have completely no idea what hospitality means. Avoid it at all costs. Toodles

The place has an awesome vibe, and I had a great time there. It's also a cool spot to get some work done. The pizza I had was fantastic, with a thin crust which is how I prefer my pizza. I heard they actually serve authentic Italian pizza. The atmosphere is really chill too. However, their customer service is a bit lacking and they don't offer a wide variety of drinks (even though I enjoyed my fruit juice). Despite that, I'll probably go back again to try a different pizza because I genuinely had a good time.

Such an underrated place. It has such an airy atmosphere and the layout of the restaurant is really unique. The food was good and something that stands out is the fact that there’s a playground for kids. 10/10

An excellent place to unwind yourself and tickle your taste buds if you have the craving for real good pizza at Pizza-Riah... The spread is good, the choice is abundant, the atmosphere is really welcoming, the food is also very good in taste . It's a value for money preposition. One can choose from an open air restaurant as well as inside for the ones who love air-conditioned environment. A MUST, if you are in LAGOS.

The ambience is really casual and cool. You have the option to sit outside and enjoy the fresh air or inside in a casual setting. Nice spot to chill with kids and few friends. Staff were nice and polite but service was really really slow. I suggest not to go starving. (which almost spoilt the whole experience) The pizza, fries and dessert were on point. No complaints what so ever but the chicken suya was dry. The playground saved the day. The kids went out to play during the waiting period. Overall service was good. I will definitely order ahead next time I am stopping by
