In summary, they almost ruined MY celebration with their awful bowls of soups. We ordered 5 different soups from them (Afang, Native, Oha, Egusi, and Nsala), NONE of them (not even one) was good. After a few servings including mine, no one could eat out of it after the first bite. We immediately stop serving soups and pounded yam. See photos for some visuals. The oil was sticky and didn't mix with the water in the soup, only a few stock and dry fish was in them, it tastes bad, leaving an appalling aftertaste in your mouth, not even a road-side food can be this bad, and for a NIGERIAN restaurant, it's simply a SHAME. When this was reported and returned to them, they denied their CREATION (the soups) at first, that's how HOW it was. Finally, when they accepted, they claimed that the soups are spoilt. So which is it? Not your soups? or that you sold us spoilt soups? Of course, no remorse, no apologies, and certainly no accountability. The reviews here nudged us to try them out, but we were utterly disappointed, leaving our guests with disgusting looks just by tasting their soups. Thank goodness, we got meals from other vendors as well (see the events Menu attached). I DO NOT recommend them, certainly NOT for any occasional or event.

My sister and I got the chickendodo dish and cocktails: Sex on the beach, red passion w/ a shot of tequila. The cocktails were really good. The food was ok, would’ve liked more seasoning but the portion was perfect. Overall, service was a bit slow. We had to wait for our food for almost 1.5 hrs. Joy was an amazing server and she was the best thing that happened in this place!

My order was fisherman soup the one with the seafood, and my wife order was ofada sauce. It was really nice and everyone of their staffs were so nice and welcoming. I was expecting a racist energy but they didn't show that and instead made us feel comfortable. appreciate native tray service and I'm definitely recommending and coming back here before I leave the country.

When they started, it was great. Then I made the mistake of placing a bulk order of soups for an event I planned and it was a disaster!!! I ordered Native Soup, Afang, Edikan Ikong, Oha, Ofe Nsala, and Banga and got pure disappointment in bowls. 💀 They used 1 smoked panla in the Ofe Nsala we opened to serve someone, no stock fish or proper dry fish. The oil in the soup was so bad it was sticking to the plate and did not mix at all. It tasted awful — bland, watery, and just wrong. The Afang was so bad the guest we offered could only pick the meat. The other bowls of food looked iffy with oil floating on top so we immediately decided to return every other thing that wasn’t consumed as soon we could because how is everything so bad? Cos it was dark and we were tired from the event, we stored everything in the freezer and took it to them the next day to lay our complaint! They apologized and promised to get back to us, we thought “ o look, they are reasonable… if only we knew cos when they finally did, things somehow got worse. First, they denied that the Oha soup (we sent them a video to them to show how watery and bad it looked) is not theirs. Their basis? The way the leaves were cut and cos it wasn’t in the pack it was ordered with? How does that even make sense? Food that a portion of was transferred out of the plate for consumption was not theirs cos of the pack? As if we just conjured up a terrible pot of soup out of thin air. Then, they claimed all the soups we returned were spoilt, which is a bold-faced lie! The food went straight from the delivery pack to our cooler and then into the freezer. No tampering except the ones that were opened, no funny business. Just their own bad cooking, preserved exactly as it was delivered. It’s one thing to serve terrible food right, mistakes happen. But to serve it, get called out, and then gaslight the customer? That’s another level of audacity. In summary: terrible food, worse customer service, and absolutely no accountability. If you’re craving a taste of real native dishes, this is not the place. Save your money — and your stomach. Zero stars. Wouldn’t recommend. 🚫🍲

Absolutely Amazing…. One of those cases of where what you ordered was better than what you got. And the waitress Joy, is an angel, very professional and prompt with her service . I really enjoyed this…I’ll definitely be visiting soon
