Kaly Restaurant & Bar Lounge

Kaly has great food and a beautiful atmosphere. We really enjoyed the dishes — everything tasted fresh and well-prepared. However, we had to wait almost two hours for our steaks, which unfortunately affected the overall experience. If the service timing improves, this place has everything to be amazing.

My husband and I came from dallas Texas, we decided to celebrate our 32nd wedding anniversary in Lagos at Karly restaurant, (they came highly recommend by a close friend) and it was an absolute delight! The atmosphere was beautiful and vibrant, setting the perfect tone for our special evening. Our server, Josephine and Eze were attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the drinks and the food, making sure we had everything we needed throughout the meal. The food was incredible, and I highly recommend the ginger spicy drink and the spicy shrimp in spicy tomato sauce. We had their Tomahawk steak.The flavors were bold and delicious, and the portion sizes were huge. We finish off with they apple crumble that was so delicious! What truly made the evening special, however, was the wonderful service we received from the staff. They went above and beyond to make our anniversary celebration memorable. The staff surprised us with hats, sparklers, ballons and two small, cute chocolate desserts on an inscribed plate that read "Happy Anniversary" - complete with hats and balloons! It was a lovely touch that made the evening truly unforgettable. Overall, I would highly recommend Karly restaurant to anyone looking for a great dining experience. The combination of delicious food, wonderful service, and beautiful atmosphere makes it a must-visit spot."

We recently dined at a restaurant called Kaly—spelled K-A-L-Y—in the heart of Victoria Island, and I must say, the interior design was stunning. The space was beautifully lit and thoughtfully designed, creating an inviting atmosphere. We were seated and given the menu, and I was particularly excited to try the smoked herbal salmon, as I had read great reviews. My friend opted for the chicken with some sauces—I’m not entirely sure of the details, but there was definitely chicken involved. I’ll be sharing pictures in the review, so keep an eye out for those. We started with drinks: I had a passion fruit cocktail, which turned out to be a bit too strong, with the flavor getting lost in the alcohol. I’m not usually into overly strong drinks and would have preferred a more balanced flavor. My friend’s apple mocktail also missed the mark; it was mostly foam with just a hint of apple juice and lime, leaving her quite disappointed. On to the food: my smoked salmon was quite good, although the sauce did become a bit overwhelming after a few bites. My friend’s chicken dish, however, was a highlight—tender and flavorful, paired with delicious fries. I must commend Kaly on their excellent service. The waitstaff were attentive and ensured we had everything we needed. A special shout-out goes to the staff member in the bathroom—Blessed, I believe—who went above and beyond by helping us take some great pictures. Her assistance was greatly appreciated. Overall, Kaly offers a chic setting with a few areas for improvement. Despite some hiccups, it was a pleasant dining experience and definitely worth a visit.
