So I came here today 24/06/25 in vi and I asked for fisherman soup with goat meat and pounded yam, first I don’t know how the soup looks like as the description was not there I thought it was with seafood and they brought it with blended tomato with a lot of pepper, catfish bone, and sprinkle periwinkle on the soup, I asked the waiter why is so her told me that it’s catfish head they use in making it, I just eat what I can and I left the rest, please do better if better still add the description so we would have an idea on what to expect I’m honestly not happy. Thanks
Good pricing but could barely be further from fancy dining. Basically a canteen, just a bit more upscale and happens to be situated in Victoria Island. Place is very spacious, which is quite good.
Portions are enormous. Less than 50% chance you are going to be able to finish your meal. Food quality is also quite good.
Jevinik used to be the beat spot for local meals with the large meal portions and atmosphere but I guess the economy has really affected them. Portions are smaller and I can't blame them but a face lift of the building, amenities and service style would help. Food quality is still top notch but they would do better with ambience. Would still visit for local delicacies
Jevinik Restaurant has great and spacious environment to eat in peace. Attendant are all male, some married men. Had a meeting there with my colleague. And he praised their meal. Always ask for the menu before you order. Anyway good work guys...more room for improvement...
