Opening complete vegetarian restaurant in VI, Lagos is a great options for vegetarian people. I should say authentic Indian Vegetarian cuisine they serve. Food was good. Menu variety is good.
And I liked the service and cleanliness of the restaurant. They didn’t allow customers to take their shoes into restaurant.
Overall good experience.
Was recommended this vegetarian place by one of my Indian friends. She gave me a heads-up that it would be hard to find. Well she was 100% right. There was no sign mentioning Potoba. We went back and forth and finally zoomed in google maps and worked our way looking at the buildings and near by shops.
Restaurant is clean. You have to leave your shoes outside and enter. Food comes very fast. All the items we ordered did not come together. But they tasted good and fresh. All the chaats and the dosa were delicious. We enjoyed every bite until I found a hard plastic piece in my Papri chaat. I gave the piece before leaving the restaurant. The manager at the front was apologetic and stunned. Price is reasonable.
Definitely will come again for the food to give it another chance.
Finally a place in Lagos to serve authentic medu vada, idli and Dosa. Awesome taste, service and a very homely food feeling.
Singles, living away from family who miss authentic indian taste in nigeria, will love the place.
All items are a must try, Dal khichdi to Onion parantha
