My food took forever to come. I don’t think the workers are really organized. I was charged 10.5% for service charge instead of the normal 5%. I had to confront the waiter who still persisted a bit that it included VAT which was a lie coz the VAT was boldly written for 7.5%. He later took it off. That’s to say if I wasn’t watchful I would have paid 18% for VAT and service charge . It was my first time there but I don’t think I’ll go back. And lastly, coffee wasn’t available which was really surprising. What I ordered was nice and the ambiance is also nice even though there was no parking space.
A group of us dined at your restaurant on Sunday, June 30th 2024, and it was truly an amazing experience. What surprised me most was that I had never heard of Botanikka until that afternoon.
Before even tasting the food, I was compelled to leave a Google review due to my sister's enthusiastic recommendation of the restaurant and she certainly didn't oversell it.
Here's what we enjoyed:
1. Grilled king prawns with mashed potatoes
2. One pan asun coconut rice
3. Chilli prawn linguine
4. Waffles and chicken with extras (the chilli in the syrup was very delicious)
5. Grilled lamb cutlets with mashed potatoes
6. Asun taco
7. Awo rice
8. Bang bang chicken
9. Popcorn shrimps
10. Mango smoothie
11. Oríṣiríṣi freshly pressed juices (watermelon was the best)
12. Chai latte
Every dish was OUTSTANDING, and I couldn't resist trying a bit of everything - yes, I did share and steal bites from everyone's plates!
This cozy restaurant deserves more recognition; we would love to see it bustling and fully booked.
This dining experience is one I won't forget anytime soon. We even had the pleasure of meeting the chef to personally thank him for the delicious meal.
They have an all day breakfast menu, so that's great.
I had the French toast breakfast, it was good except the baked beans had pepper/scotch bonnet in them !!??
Overall not a bad experience, service was good.
Botanikka Kitchen & Wine Bar is a new spot in Lagos, run by the same team behind the infamous Cafe De Flore Ikoyi and Tea Room Lagos. Its French-inspired interior and outdoor patio create a warm ambiance that’s perfect for catching up with friends. The staff was incredibly friendly, and the Chicken Alfredo Pasta was flavorful. Overall, it’s a great spot for a small group to relax and enjoy some quality time together over breakfast or brunch.
🚗 There is very limited parking available. Street parking only
📵They also have a No Pictures Policy
👔Semi-Formal Dress Code Policy

To be fair, I went in with a preconceived mindset. The walkway to the door was rather dodgy. The food presentation was lacking, but surprisingly, it tasted good. I doubt I'll revisit, though
