Silk Road Restaurant Abuja

It is Chinese restaurant at the heart of Abuja on 5th floor. The beef sizling with steemed rice was delicious. It comes while cooking on a hot plate with sound Cha cha cha.. The service was also nice.

Not the best experience. My first jog of Chapman had a roach in it. And it was after I sipped some of it in my glass cup that I spotted the roach on my cup. But the food and protein was nice. They also were slow to bring out food and even water.

Love the aesthetics, the ambiance and of course the view overlooking the city . Their service was great and the attendants were quite jovial too. My friends had their special fried rice and shredded beef sauce while I had steamed rice and curry chicken sauce. The food didn’t take as long as I thought it would and they were fast with our cocktails too. This place is quite spacious so it’s a good option for family/friends dining.

Silk Road Chinese restaurant is located on the 8th floor Sonoiki House Abuja. It's probably the biggest Chinese restaurant in Nigeria with s many as 14 private suites in addition to a large dining hall that can accommodate up to 200 people easily. Food was really good and fresh but we had a not so good service experience. Our waiter was totally confused and not on yop of her game at all. Could not confidently say what meals were vegan as my vegan guest ws served meat products twice! Good ambiance especially if you are in one of the private rooms. Good place to visit.

I don’t know if the changed the management because our experience was so bad.. The guy that took our order was so inexperienced and confused. The food (rice) was like a regular food a little child can make at home. Nothing special. I even ordered a vegetable salad and was offered coleslaw(cabbage & carrot with cream). The said that’s only what they have as salad. They couldn’t afford to pay for DSTV on their TV. They had this free startime program showing weird channels… Experience overall was ❌❌❌
