The space is beautiful and their meals splendid. That this avocado salad that I'll forever recommend. Had a coffee, cocktail and wings. It was so filling. Space is mind blowing. There is also a sit-out spot with green scenery and a bar attendant readily available. I highly recommend for a date or a quiet sit out.

It is such a beautiful welcome addition to Nigeria. And to think everything is locally sourced and perfect. Environment is safe, beautiful and clean. Staff are diligent, educative and attentive. Just being there alone is a delight. Mai Shai Rules. I am so proud of this Nigerian brand

Would I return here? Yes. Would it be because I like coffee? Nope. Not even at all. It would be because when I was buying coffee and cookies, I felt like I belonged here. I felt like if I did not return, I would be missing out on something truly valuable. I would be missing out and deeply hidden and amazing part of myself. Their coffee is strong and I immediately do not want to drink coffee again if that's what it tastes like.

MaiShayi Coffee Roasters are an indigenous business that grows and trade in locally grown coffee beans. This business has been around since 1981 and are located in Asokoro, Abuja. We had plans to actually visit the cafe for breakfast someday, only for us to stumble on it while we were in the compound for something different. The cafe is elegant but simple which I like. Large artworks hung on the walls and the aesthetic of the place was quite cozy. We were treated to the history and taste of the business and the different coffee options they had from the Kenyan coffee to those of Colombia, etc. Yes, the service was good. And I liked how simple the outfit of the attendants were but with a little scarf twist. Do you know that Europe though the highest consumer of coffee, do not have any indigenous grower of the beans. Anyway, we didn't have coffee, we had sandwiches and crepes with a banana smoothie and strawberry milkshake, and the milkshake was really good. The food overall was very good and not expensive as you would expect from a cafe in Asokoro. It also was prompt. The music was prefect for the mood and theme of the place. I actually think the music came from the advertisement screen by the bar. I enjoyed the ambience, the experience, the food and drinks. I think the only thing, I would change is the location. There have been some changes to the area that weren't readily on Google map. Ambience ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Service ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ Food ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ Drinks⭐⭐⭐⭐ Location ⭐ ⭐ ⭐

If you’re looking for authentic food I’d highly recommend Mai shayi! They have a wide range of both local and intercontinental dishes. The teas and coffee are simply wonderful. The service top notch, ambiance is simply wonderful! I honestly enjoyed my visit and I see myself going back really soon!! Oh almost forgot, I visited with my entire family, my baby brother was having a tough time coming to terms with the coffee beans on the table, a waitress came by, handed him some coffee beans then proceeded to explain the process of coffee making to him. She gave us all complimentary sips of the aromatic coffee and it was amazing. She handled the situation so well, he forgot about the whole scene and started playing with the coffee beans! Honestly I was impressed! I’d be dropping a video, so you get to see my point! I wish I read your name tag though, would have given you a shoutout but believe me you’re amazing!❤️
