Tried to visit this establishment at 2 PM on a weekday but were unlucky enough to have purchased a baguette at Dunes before walking over here. Got turned away because we had “food” with us. Foreigners with a baby and clearly with money, but the ridiculous security couldn’t use his logic. Management - train your staff better!
Beautiful ambiance, amazing food but very very very and I mean very very slow service!! It took over an hour before the food arrived I’m not even joking. I mean yes the food was amazing but the wait, nahhh!! Don’t go here if you’re starving … I especially like the fact they had local dishes too, made it so much better.
They have two main sitting arrangements
Cozy Hut Restaurant with the bar comes with its own music playing
Accommodating Open Garden that comes with private huts that can be reserved.
Menu is a mix of affordable and a bit pricey.
Enjoyed their tea and had some suya for the table.
Friday’s the salsa dancers take a spin at it, entertaining and opened to all (new n old).
It’s a chilled spot , no mosquitoes or flys but need fans in some parts of the open garden mostly the stone benches.
Clean environment, hard working staffs.
Great place to hang out. Love their lemonade, chapman and pepper soup men!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Not to even mention the Thai rice with shrimps, and Thai fried fish cake. The prices are quite fair, but at least you get value for money.
The ambience is lovely, cool staff, and personally love visiting here when it is not so crowded, it gives that freedom to feel the nature without disruptions. Considering that it is an open space, the flies do have a very strong sense of smell; just don't let them perceive the food sweet aroma, cause you will have them to contend with once they do. Normal thing for an open space right? Overall, I love this place for a quick weekend hangout.
Siam City Thai restaurant is one of these off-the-road lounges that you’ve probably passed many times without taking a note of.
I came here after church to meet up with a group of friends before leaving for home.
One thing I noticed was the calm vibe. It was a Sunday afternoon, about 2:30pm and I could tell that everybody there had had a good time.
My friends had ordered the breakfast special and some packed up their leftovers to eat later.
I got to taste their peppered chicken wings and I must say, it was honestly divine.
After a bit, we went over to the snooker board and played a game of pool.
We had such a great time there! And lest I forget, the personnel in charge of the snooker board was really helpful.
He gave us a lot of pointers to the best way to play.
