It is such a beautiful welcome addition to Nigeria. And to think everything is locally sourced and perfect. Environment is safe, beautiful and clean. Staff are diligent, educative and attentive. Just being there alone is a delight. Mai Shai Rules. I am so proud of this Nigerian brand

Would I return here? Yes. Would it be because I like coffee? Nope. Not even at all. It would be because when I was buying coffee and cookies, I felt like I belonged here. I felt like if I did not return, I would be missing out on something truly valuable. I would be missing out and deeply hidden and amazing part of myself. Their coffee is strong and I immediately do not want to drink coffee again if that's what it tastes like.

Best café in Abuja! I would be happy if they have also seat out garden but even without that its perfect. Service, food, management and concept! Strongly recommend.

MaiShayi Coffee Roasters are an indigenous business that grows and trade in locally grown coffee beans. This business has been around since 1981 and are located in Asokoro, Abuja. We had plans to actually visit the cafe for breakfast someday, only for us to stumble on it while we were in the compound for something different. The cafe is elegant but simple which I like. Large artworks hung on the walls and the aesthetic of the place was quite cozy. We were treated to the history and taste of the business and the different coffee options they had from the Kenyan coffee to those of Colombia, etc. Yes, the service was good. And I liked how simple the outfit of the attendants were but with a little scarf twist. Do you know that Europe though the highest consumer of coffee, do not have any indigenous grower of the beans. Anyway, we didn't have coffee, we had sandwiches and crepes with a banana smoothie and strawberry milkshake, and the milkshake was really good. The food overall was very good and not expensive as you would expect from a cafe in Asokoro. It also was prompt. The music was prefect for the mood and theme of the place. I actually think the music came from the advertisement screen by the bar. I enjoyed the ambience, the experience, the food and drinks. I think the only thing, I would change is the location. There have been some changes to the area that weren't readily on Google map. Ambience ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Service ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ Food ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ Drinks⭐⭐⭐⭐ Location ⭐ ⭐ ⭐

I had a flight delay so we stopped here for coffee. The entire experience was amazing! My fiancee and his friend ordered 2 different soups. I ordered mashed potatoes and coffee. I had to take some to go! It was so delicious. The atmosphere is very calm and well decorated. The details were beautiful and chic. The bathroom was clean. The barista was friendly and I hope she’s there when I come back. I live in the US but if I lived in Abuja, I would be there everyday for coffee.
