Would I return here? Yes.
Would it be because I like coffee? Nope. Not even at all.
It would be because when I was buying coffee and cookies, I felt like I belonged here. I felt like if I did not return, I would be missing out on something truly valuable. I would be missing out and deeply hidden and amazing part of myself.
Their coffee is strong and I immediately do not want to drink coffee again if that's what it tastes like.
All I can say is wow wow wow! This place was absolutely phenomenal. I experienced coffee in a completely different way. This coffee was top notch! I love the atmosphere here. The staff is so incredible, so knowledgeable, and this environment feels like luxury. Literally, it feels like you’re on a vacation. As an American, I’m used to quick coffee and limited interaction. That will not fly at this place! They do not even allow usage of laptops because they want you to experience what it means to really relax and enjoy a really good cup of coffee. That is one policy you’ll be grateful for! I found myself just staring into my latte in sheer amazement! To say the food is great is an understatement! You just have to experience this place for yourself. Please do not leave Abuja without going to this place. I enjoyed it so much that I’ve been telling all my friends and family about it. Special thank you to the wonderful staff member who introduced me to masa. If you are a coffee lover, I would recommend you experience in this place for yourself. As in I would book a flight just for this coffee.
The service and atmosphere were excellent, and the team was very friendly. However, the No-laptop-use is a significant drawback for me. Prices are expensive.
A lovely hideaway with exceptional customer service that stands out. I ordered the Giwan Ruwa with a side of Masa, and the warmth and attentiveness of the staff made the experience even better. While I’m not a coffee lover, I tried the ice cream with a shot of home grown espresso ( still not a coffee fan ) I’ll definitely return for the food and the outstanding service.
It’s all about how a place makes you feel.
Had a nice meal at the Café. It's a cozy upscale small restaurant. I love the dark interior and how coffee beans were used to design the glass tables. Very unique.
I enjoyed my creamy mashed potatoes with the giwan ruwa fish. Delicious mocktail too. Service was excellent with no long wait time.
A large group may have challenges as the place is small and often busy. Also the blender noise from the open bar could be a tad irritating. It's not cheap but overall worth the price.
Other than that, Asokoro folks sure have a good one to check out.
