Located in the heart of Wuse 2, L & N offers a range of northern delicacies.
With a spacious restaurant space and other secluded lounges, the place is comfortable and cozy.
The menu is good and quite affordable.
The staff are friendly and ready to help.
Very clean environment.
There is a buffet service in the evening.
I had the masa at 500 naira each and the soup at 5000 naira.
The portion of the soup was not encouraging for the price, however, it tasted really good.
There is a fish grill and suya spot.
Highly recommended for visitors of all ages and family hangouts too.
L&N offers a pleasant and well-thought-out setting for a buffet-style dining experience, with both indoor and outdoor seating options. I visited for Iftar dinner with my cousin’s immediate family and appreciated the calm ambiance.
While advertised as a buffet, it’s important to note that it’s not a self-serve experience—attendants serve each dish to you at the stations. The zobo drink was excellent, rich in flavor, but served in a small 30cl PET cup, which meant walking a fair distance for refills.
A few suggestions for improvement:
It would enhance the dining experience if attendants could assist with clearing used plates more frequently and offer help in getting add-ons like drinks or sides, even if they don’t serve the main dish at the table.
Overall, it was a good experience with room for thoughtful upgrades in service delivery.
Looking to get a proper northern food experience then L&N Kitchen it is.
The service here can be a little bit slow depending on when you visit and the number of customers however they make up for it with their tasty northern dishes and drinks. Really doubt there is a northern dish they do not serve inclusive of the seating area if you want that northern flavour.
Food here is tasty and prices are reasonable, nothing cut throat. They have VIP areas if you are not one for the northern flavour of seating on the carpet or the regular seating option.
This place was a great find. Service was good though I notice it's usually easy if you branch early say 3-4pm. Immediately it got to later evening and it got crowded, you wont get personalized service. Great ambience. Affordable too. Tried some Hausa/Fulani cuisine and for a picky eater, I loved it 🫰
Very nice settings, however the Manager and his team members needs to be a little bit more professional and customer centric. My experience was a bit off due to little misunderstanding that could easily be fixed. Overall, the meal is nice.
