Hootas Restaurant

Love the dark ambience and the balcony sit-out area. Great menu options. Loved the fillet fish and periperi sauce paired with pasta. Their herb tea was the perfect palate cleanser. Servers and staff were pleasant and attentive. 8/10 would highly recommend.

I absolutely enjoyed my meal....it was affordable as well. The chef was nice enough to come out and say hello. The environment was nice and neat. The menu had varieties of food ....Turkish, Nigerian and Chinese. I enjoyed every moment spent here. The waiter was nice and served us well. Will definitely return.

Where we sat was quiet. It is nice to have music in the background yet be able to hear onseslf without shouting. Then the service was prompt and Clinton was really nice to us. Let me not forget the hootas special tea with mint, cinnamon sticks etc was a winner. I am definitely going back there.

Place is located upstairs in a plaza. Easy to access. Adequate parking. Lovely space. Staff very friendly and always ready is help. I liked the decor, different sections. Bar set up. Private sitting area. There is outdoor and indoor sitting area as well. Food came on time, which was good. I ordered the chicken chopsey rice with shredded chicken with vegetables and it was really tasty. I always had chicken wings. Drinks very very cold.

Prior to my visit here, I had gotten an initial invitation for lunch here and I decided we went somewhere else after I looked this restaurant up on Instagram. This is because this wasn’t doing it for me when it came to aesthetics, I love aesthetically pleasing spots with good lighting for some bomb pictures So on this day, my friend and I were really hungry and then she requested for a ride to take us somewhere we could have dinner and then we arrived here. It was late and to be honest I was just concerned about filling my tummy 🥴 after all “who aesthetics epp” So we got here and went to the lounge area instead of the restaurant, it doesn’t matter where you sit, you could dine anywhere. They have a lounge, restaurant and a shisha parlor. So I got the menu and then went through it and I must say their prices are really reasonable compared to a lot of other restaurants. We placed an order for fresh pineapple and orange juice ( cost 1,000 Naira each) Pasta penne (2500 Naira for a portion) Chicken wings (1,500 Naira a portion) The waiter was polite and their services were so prompt, our food and juice arrived in good time and to top it all the food was so nice!! Did I mention the quantity was alot too, my friend and I shared a plate of the pasta and we were so full. Now this is what getting the actual value for your money looks like!! I actually felt bad for judging them based on “looks” at first, talk about judging a book by it’s cover We decided to stay back for some shisha after having our food and that cost us 3,000 Naira, guys that was the perfect shisha!!! It has to be the best I have had in the Capital, it was so so smooth. The experience was so great that we went back there the next day for their rice and wings (pictures are included in the review) Rice is a 1,500 Naira a portion, you would have to order two portions per head for this though. So if you are really hungry and your appetite seems to be raging, Hootas is the place for you. I totally totally recommend this place!!!
