Fuschia is a gem. Tucked away in the vicinity of galaxy pizza and jevinik restaurant, smack-dab in their middle, this awesome place is a rare treat, a breath of fresh air in hospitality, and a place where the cuisine never disappoints. I was opportune to sample two dishes on the night I dined in fuschia. And I'll tell you, both were sumptuous meals, eaten in a cozy environment, with a beautiful ambience that draws you in. Service was prompt, friendly and engaging. The prices were unbelievably fair. Visit Fuschia if you are looking for a cozy place for 1st dates, dinner parties, whatever floats your boat.

Fuschia restaurant has now become my standard restaurant whenever I'm in Abuja and am really hungry. Their fisherman soup and that soup are heavenly. In fact, most of their soups are fantastic, very tasty with generous portions. The hack is for 2 people to share a bowl of soup and get extra portions of swallow because it's hard for one person to finish one plate of soup in one sitting. The pounded yam is always fleshly made and great. I like that you're given the liberty to choose the pepper levels you can tolerate. If you have a big appetite, I totally recommend.

I had a shawarma at this restaurant while waiting for my take out order. The atmosphere was good and the server was courteous. The shawarma was good however I was disappointed with the take out order. For a restaurant promises an authentic Calabar flavor, it is unforgivable that my Fisherman and Afang soups had no periwinkle. Also, for the price (25k), the Fisherman soup was a far cry from what you would find advertised on their Instagram page . I looked forward to an experience on my way here but I was utterly disappointed. I am definitely not coming back and I do not recommend.

Pretty decent place to have well prepared local meals amongst other varieties they have. Could be a bit pricey but compared to other restaurants offering similar services, I would say it's a fair price. ☺️ And their soup servings is plentiful. I recommend.

Location = 100% Very central to the heart of town. Ambience and Aesthetics = 60% It's not so big but it's simple and fine. I like how the colours were kept minimal and simple. Nothing extra with the plates and cutlery. Price = 50% I personally think that the food is quite pricey and the menu, a little too dismembered. Swallows have a different price section, soups have a different price section and proteins, a different price section. I found that odd. Menu = 100% It's a Calabar Kitchen and it does have quite a good number of meals from Southern Nigeria. Very impressive. Food = 60% I had Afang and Wheat... The Afang wasn't bad honestly but it wasn't great either, more like, I expected more because of the hype and name. The soup portion is/was generous! Wait Time = 100% About 20 minutes for food so fresh.... Staff = 95% Professional and courteous
