In December 2024, I had a private business meeting at the Wuse branch located at Cape Town Street in Abuja and it was a truly warm experience. The restaurant offers a unique blend of Lebanese cuisine with a European twist, featuring both outdoor and indoor seating that creates a pleasant and inviting ambience.
The menu boasts a variety of great food choices. I enjoyed the chicken cream soup and rice, which were both delicious and well-presented. I also ordered a takeaway Sharwama, and my business partner opted for the Spaghetti Bolognese and chicken; both dishes were satisfying and flavourful.
The customer service was prompt and satisfactory, adding to the overall positive dining experience. The prices are reasonable.
One minor downside was the parking situation. The parking space on-site is a bit tight and may fill up quickly during rush hour. However, there is guided street parking available as an alternative.
Overall, City View Restaurant is highly recommended for anyone looking for great food, a cozy atmosphere, family friendly and excellent service.
Lovely environment. We ate in the garden area and it had just rained so the air felt really clean and fresh. The food was served very timely. Food was freshly made, middle eastern Mediterranean flavours. Well prepared and tasty. The platting was also great and we got complementary salads from the chef.
The prices are very fair in comparison to the quality and quantity of the meal.
Kudos to the staff who were very attentive and kind especially when they saw I had a medical cast on my leg and they made sure I was very comfortable. They were also kind enough to help take pictures of me and my friend.
Generally money well spent and worth it. I had a great lunch experience.
I’ll start by saying this: indoor restaurants should not have temperatures below 22 degrees. Why? Because if we wanted to eat ice-creams and lollies, we know where to go.
I arrived here and we had ordered, and since it was very noisy outside (due to some renovation work that was going on), we decided to go inside. On getting in, the large air conditioners were on every corner, and man, it was cold (16 degrees )! I spoke to the staff about this, and he did nothing about it. In fact, he told us to go outside if we needed warmth. Can you imagine? I would have walked out if I came alone.
So basically inside the restaurant was meant for VIPs? What kind of bush mentality is that? You should treat all your guests the same. They’re paying for the food, and you’re really not doing them a favor. The food might be great, but the service was terrible!
My family and I literally go to this place every time we have a special event. We love this place so much!!! The food is so good. If you love Lebanese cuisine, then this is definitely the place for you.
Food was delicious!!!
Starters were mouthwatering.
Main meals are sizeable and relishing. The hummus here is second to none in all of Abuja.
The menu is varied and offers a wide range of options to cater for differences and preferences. The drinks menu could be better.
Staff were courteous, pleasant and professional.
It was a lunch meeting and the restaurant wasn’t full to capacity, turn out time was okay; 15 - 20 minutes.
Prices are overall fair. On the average, one could spend about twenty five - thirty thousand Naira (about $30) for a decent meal, including a drink.
City View is one of the very few restaurants in Abuja that accepts foreign cards.
