The food is great, staff are generally professional. It was a hot day and both indoor and outdoor spaces felt like an oven - the indoor cooling systems definitely need to be fixed.
Good ambiance and good location, the performance by the live band was top notch, the Manager Mr Sylvester was very friendly and professional. Good customer service and great dancers. Will definitely visit again whenever in Abuja.
But the food was a little delayed, was famished before the food was served.
My experience at Breeze Restaurant was mixed. I had some things I loved and some other things that just outright frustrated me.
I ordered the special rice but I asked for the prawns to be swapped for chicken. The portion was a bit small but it tasted really good. From my experience, there’s always a tendency to over spice “Special Rice” cos you want to make it special but this was seasoned very well and the chicken tasted great! My favorite thing was that drink; I can’t remember the name but it had ginger, pineapple and some other things. It’s weird because it had a confusing after taste but I still kept drinking it (and I was actually enjoying it).
The main negative for me was the service. A group of waiters (5+) were gisting when we walked in and we sat for over 15 minutes and not a single person came to us. I literally had to call out to them . Aside from that, the two people that answered us were very nice, and patient. Although, they didn’t know much about the menu. Another issue for me was that cheesesteak sandwich - the bread was hard (I think they grilled it for too long) and it was very difficult to eat.
Overall, it wasn’t a bad experience at all just a few things that need to be resolved.
I felt I found my new favorite spot after spending just 5 minutes. The place is cool, calm, beautiful and beautiful. I know I said “beautiful” twice. They really didn’t do so much but the place looks so beautiful. The attendants are smart, fast, friendly, active and just sweet…they were all smiles, gave feedbacks, did a lot to make us not feel the delay of our food. We had grilled fish and it was nice, didn’t exactly like my drink and I was trying it for the first time. My best part was the music, I love good music and the DJ won my heart…he played the right songs and places them so well. The only thing I didn’t like was the size of the bathroom not a big deal tho just my thing.
It’s a really nice place to just unwind and it’s affordable too.
Great spot for an evening hangout in Wuse 2.
The ambience is great. The chef clearly knows what s/he is doing in the kitchen. And the dancers make it unnecessary to engage in meaningless small conversations; just eat your food, sip your whisky, admire the choreography and soak in the music.
P/S: The toilet 🚻 in this place is probably finer than the one in your house. Just a fair warning ⚠️
