Blake Resort in Abuja formerly known as 'Blakes' is a popular live entertainment spot. Infact, Blakes is an undeniable pioneer in the live entertainment scene in Abuja. It's appearance more than 20 years ago in the city center electrified the entertainment scenario. Located along Ahmadu Bello Way, the outfit later shut down following some reversals, but later bounced back better, more modern & sophisticated. At the initial stage, there was only the live music hall. However, with the renaissance came the modern restaurant/lounge. This area, predominantly constructed with brown wood uplifted the ambience of the place with is exceptional modern concept. It's always a beautiful place to wine & dine while listening to good music. The live music auditorium also underwent some metamorphosis. Renovated & upgraded with shining & bristling disco & neon lights, it looks like a background/setting for a star wars theme. Blake Resort is renowned for its grilled fish & array of usual & exotic drinks. Add this to the extensive menu of local, continental & international cuisine. The meals are prepared alarcarte, so diners must be patient, or very patient as the turnaround time could be annoying at times. Blake Resort is a vibrant go-to place for fun lovers seeking good music, food & wine. With it's electrifying atmosphere, live bands, and diverse cuisine, it is better attended as a group with friends & family. Though dining here doesn't come cheap. So I've to emphasise 'Caviet Emptor'
A great place to visit, their karaoke host is a great crowd Manager. Wednesdays are their karaoke days, and most times there are karaoke competitions with great prices to be won!!!!
If you're a great singer or not time to flex those vocals of yours!!!!
Their services are great and the isewu I had was good too not very great but can be better.
Generally, I had so much fun participating in the crowd during their karaoke competitions.
Love it!!!!!
Really loved it here. Service was a 7/10; food 7/10; ambiance 8/10. Really that there’s a live band and it gets really interesting. They start playing at 8pm. The pricing is also pretty decent. A good time can be had with N15k - N20k or even less depending on what you’d like to eat. Overall, I’ll give it a 7.5 or 8/10.
It's a beautiful atmosphere with different meals. What I ate was delicious, their prices are friendly and the smoothie was great.
They also have a live band session and the live band performed for me, which was great.
I had a good time, their service was great, good meal, good ambience and value for money. Enough parking space and clean toilets as well.
The shawarma is 10/10 and it is good for the price 5k
The fish is ok but it’s burnt sometimes ,that spoilt the taste for me and it is affordable for the size 15k and above.
I liked the Oreo milkshake not the best I have ever had.
The nkwobi and isi ewu was on point too 10/10
The customer care is great.
I love the ambiance of the different corners.
