The food was okay overall, but the suya was too chewey and the “butter chicken” had no butter and was way too hard to even eat.
The fish was delicious but would be better with a little less pepper.
The service, man it was so slowww!!! Nigerian restaurants really need to do better with food prepping and serving. I mean waiting 30 mins for all your meals to be served is already an issue, but waiting 30 mins for each plate to be served is a nightmare!
Biggest mistake I made was coming here on a Friday to eat, drink and chat with friends. I promise you you can't hear yourself above the music. Asked the manager to turn down the music and she said "it's a live band" as if you can't listen to live bands without losing your eardrums. This is after sitting as far away from the speakers as possible.
I attended their Friday night retro party and it was fun and interesting. They had trivia and games which kept everyone entertained.
Their meals tasted great as well.

The service at Wild Charcoal was top-notch. The staff was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu, making excellent recommendations based on my preferences. It’s clear that they take pride in providing a great dining experience.
To top it all off, Wild Charcoal offers a well-curated drink menu, including refreshing cocktails and local beverages that perfectly complement the food. I highly recommend trying one of their signature cocktails for a delightful pairing with your meal.
Overall, Wild Charcoal is a must-visit for anyone looking to indulge in delicious grilled cuisine in Lagos. Whether you're dining with friends, family, or on a romantic date night, this restaurant delivers on all fronts.
The is a massive screen so if you are a lover of sports, it great. The screen is outdoors and to be honest, on a busy night, you could have a good night. But the cost of the drinks and food can shock you when you see the bill. Ask how much before you order.
