What an incredible experience!
We visited Afefeyeye as a group of 10, traveling from different parts of the world – Germany, Romania, the U.S., Portugal – and were welcomed with such warmth and hospitality that we immediately felt at home.
The food was absolutely delicious – fresh, flavorful, and authentically Nigerian. The palm wine was a true highlight! The drinks were fantastic, and the music created such a vibrant, joyful atmosphere.
Our waiter was not only attentive but genuinely cool and friendly. The staff made sure we had everything we needed, including perfect seating for our big group. Every single person we interacted with was kind, open, and welcoming.
Afefeyeye isn’t just a restaurant – it’s an experience.
A place where food, culture, and connection come together beautifully.
We’ll remember this night for a long time – and will definitely be back!
This restaurant takes you back to the 19s as you take a sip or eat. Nothing is served using modern cutlery. You get to use a wooden fork and knife. Served in banana leaves 🍃 etc . I loved the atmosphere 👌
I had a great experience eating here. The staff were really nice and the food tasted great and filling. It's a nice place to visit with friends, family or even go on a date. You even have an option of your order being brought to you at their cinema located in the same building, that's if you choose to see a movie.
They could do better with food timing. Using my experience as an example, it was my first visit with a group. A commitment fee had been paid a day before, so they knew for sure that we were coming. Our food could have been prepared about an hour or two before our arrival. The delay in our food prep somewhat dampened the whole vibe. For that reason, service and food get 2 stars; this could change on further visits.
