La Mango Restaurant and Lounge Ikeja GRA

The food was good so I'll say not too bad. Food: The food I had was great tho so I forgave the other wrongs a bit, my husband's jollof rice - not so much. I had the special egg fried rice *I think 🤔, so I'd advice you to try that out (it was actually very good👌). Customer service: This wasn't really great. Most probably because they had lots of events on this particular day and they were very obviously short staffed. One person had to tend to many tables so you can bet that food and drinks orders came in really late (like I was done with my own food before my husband's food came). Ambience: it was quite crowded on the day I went. They had multiple events happening at the same time. And we ended up sitting in the 'VIP area' as that was one of the only free spaces. It wasn’t well lit (which is a problem when you want to eat) and it was quite cold. Price: The prices were quite reasonable 👌, and they already included the VAT in the prices so you won't be charged for that separately. Overall its not bad, could be better with some changes tho.

Second time here and I totally loved the ambience, it's a very nice place to chill with friends, and their food is also nice, affordable and tasty. They have outdoor and indoor sitting arrangement, so which ever you want, they have got you covered. Service is also good. So if you want a nice place to chill with friends, then this is the place for you.

I like the fact there are different settings on offer, from the closed or open rooftop seats, to the lounge areas, to the outdoor pool area, the high seats at the bar and the set table. Its gives you options depending on your mood and preferred lighting. The service was good and the food was more in quantity than I expected. The quality was good as well. There are screens everywhere for entertainment, a live set and a DJ. Parking seems a bit small depending on the number of guests but then there is more outside. Pool was empty and needed cleaning when I visited. Restroom was well kept for those sensitive to such. It was a nice experience in an easy to find place.

I first went to La Mango several years ago and then again earlier this week (November 2019); it was pleasantly surprising to see their standard hasn't dropped. It has outdoor and indoor sitting areas, the outdoor section is on the rooftop. The food tasted awesome and the cocktail wasn't bad at all (just needed a bit more alcohol). Their menu items arent too pricey and the service time (food preparation) was impressive. Some of the menu items however were unavailable and it also took some time before we were attended to - hence the 4 star rating instead of 5. Overall however, it's a nice place and worth a visit. I'll certainly return.

Nice restaurant,with good facilities,needs an upgrade.A wonderful place to hangout,decent food, though needs improvement in the taste,salty at times.The customer service is okay,but they can look into delivery time for food ordered.Parking space is limited. The entrance and exterior ambience needs a facelift. No wheelchair accessible,and no accessibility signs for physically challenged person's.
