I can say one of the good Indian restaurant in Victoria Island, Lagos. Food is really good and the prices are good compared to other places. And portion sizes are good compared to the price.
Variety of foods are there like, Indian, Nigerian, Chinese and Continental cuisine.
Restaurant is very old and needs some renovation including the furniture and washrooms. But they maintain the cleanliness.
Service is ok ok. Not that fast and friendly. But for the food you must visit.
Liked their Khucuri so much
Food was outstanding, excellent flavours/ spices. I've been fortunate to experience Indian cuisine in the UK, Canada, and the US... the food can compete with the best.
Absolutely loved the mutton dishes.
Outstanding food, absolutely Indian classic food, the real taste of India. The service is simple, swift, and fast. The food tastes the same each time I have been in the last 25 years. The ambience is the same noisy remecent of India. It is one of the only restaurants that serves Fresh Coconut Water as a drink.
Oh my... every single dish was a meld of flavours, never quite knew what I was eaten/tasting when. The Biryani, and Chicken Tikka were some of the best I've had in a while, certainly more flavourful. Oh and what would be an indian cuisine without appropriately insane spicy levels. I survived!
While there, make certain to try the garlic bread as part of your starter.
SHERLATON INDIAN RESTAURANT
Sherlaton is the best Indian restaurant you've not been to, and yes, the name is Sherlaton (not Sheraton).
It's a bit difficult to locate. It's just hidden away for some weird reason, so be on the lookout for a really tiny sign. The space was larger than I expected, and then I remembered duh it's
We had the cheese naan and Mutton Roganjosh to begin, and their naan was the best we've had in Lagos. It was 🔥. The pieces of mutton in the Roganjosh were really big and well flavoured as well
Indian restaurants are always a hack when it comes to great value for me, and they didn't miss in that regard. Really healthy large sized portions that served all of us with good amounts of takeout. The chicken tikka masala- 🔥, the chicken biryani- 🔥, the cocktails - well, you get the point.
All things considered, this is one of the best restaurants we've been to in Lagos, usual slightly slow delivery time notwithstanding. Lovely staff as well, but do note the parking is really iffy.
