Just being fancy doesn’t work for me. A restaurant with high ratings should not falter like this. The bread is good and maybe they specialize on this but they need to out more attention in their service too.
I visited Lagos for a vacation and was looking for a breakfast spot with great food and ambiance. This place did not disappoint! My husband and I ordered the brioche French toast and buttermilk pancakes, and both dishes were delicious and extremely filling. The portion sizes were generous.
The drinks, lemonade and fruit punch, were freshly made—you could really taste that they were freshly squeezed. I would HIGHLY recommend this place! The server was kind and patient, and the food arrived in about 20-30 minutes. We plan to return before heading back to the United States.
A cosy and calm atmosphere, good for solo or group dinings; with beautiful decor for pictures.
My eggs and toast in chilli oil were delicious. The chai latte was strong on flavour and spices, but it was too watery for my taste. Maybe they used skimmed milk?
The servers could have been a bit more attentive. Overall, it was a good experience.
